What other riders on Austrian brand machinery had shock issues?

I think you’re making it up.

Late ‘25 with early testing it was either Prado or Tomac picture going around with them on the KTM with blown shock

RJs main complaint about the bike this year has been inconsistency. Same as Chase on the KTM. Same as Tom.

I do think that there is a limit to how far you can push the WP design. On some Steve pod he had a suspension expert say that the riders were asking for a setting that would never work properly with the hardware. I am the king of spreading half remembered (mis)information from pods though, so...

But notice, AP never really seemed to have these shock issues. He seemed more willing to work with what the bike brought to the table than the others.

Through all of this, one would have to assume that something will change right?

Monster cannot be stoked that Kawi has cost them two top riders in two years... There have to be difficult meetings going on as we speak right?

If we roll into next year with the same status quo I will be shocked and concerned for kawi upper management. Is there a gas leak in the building?

whatever the shock issue was or wasn't is irrelevent at this point. ET won a few mains in sx this year and prodo clearly is all good. Not to mention that bike/shock is in the review mirror entirly as they are on a completely new bike starting new week.

That was the point in bringing it up, if the shock was part of sextons fall out with Ktm, that issue is gone, would that be enough to mend the fences?

Would they really want to work with Chase anymore ? The American team is not short on talent AND they have a couple of brothers coming over that know their way around a dirtbike pretty well.

That’s what we all wanna  know. Ducati seems more likely that Ktm to me, doesn’t Ducati have monster, and some former geico guys maybe Chase has relationships with?

either way pretty wild for kawi to lose a top guy 2 years straight both forcing their ways out of multi year big dollar deals.

That's a good point I didn't think about Ziggy and Factory Connection's involvement with the Ducati team

He's anti-anything-american. He's also a tireless KTM fanboy and would rather believe that Sexton and his dad convinced Vialle he should sit out the last race of the year because there's something wrong with his bike instead of admitting KTM had a shock issue last year.

His Mechanic got assigned mookie already which I think is part of Steve’s reason for thinking Chase got out.

I get Chase issues are his own as well, but to see Prado want out last year, and do well with KTM and then now Chase possibly want out also after one year...

How does Kawasaki-Japan not want to clean house of the US team management?

isn't Kawasaki USA its own unit? And same for Kawaski Euro? I don't think everything on the teams is managed top-down from Japan in a boardroom.

chase is right at the top of the "talent scale"  ..............right up jetts exhaust pipe..........unfortunately a few other issues still need to be worked out!

his head may be right up Jet's exhaust.

“KTM Fanboy”

That’s hilarious. You’re very wrong on that.

Sexton factory Honda Brazil racing Brazil mx sx. Bonuses only. Done deal I heard from a reliable source. Profesh125. It was his only option. Apparently all the team managers read vital & won’t sign him now cause he sucks.

If all these guys are healthy...Chase will have a HARD time ever winning another race...Deegan, Prado, Jett, Hunter...plus even  Roczen and Webb have all raced more than CS in the past year...and isn't Davies coming to the 450 ranks in 2028??  Sexton is on the older side of his winning days and he crapped on a lot of brands. Did he win, yes. Can he win now and actually be a championship contender again??...doubtful.

Who else has straight up beaten a moderately healthy/motivated Jett besides Hunter and Gajser?

Yeah, I think KTM will not even engage in contract talks with Sexton. They got out from under his Dad's foolishness, and have signed the Coenens, win/win for KTM.

I hope Chase leaves Kawasaki. The problems with that team run deep, and Jake Weimer outlined some of them on PulpMX a while back.

Weimar left the team 12 years ago my man.  Good chance the team has grown/changed in that amount of time.
