Not to take away from marchbanks, but when you’re on Jett/chase level bike setup and very minor things become a huge difference. They are riding these bikes literally to their limit. Not saying it isn’t important for marchbanks too, but chase needs perfection to get that 0.5 sec on the track to battle Jett. Theres a big difference being 4-10 place and top 3 consistently.

Marchbanks seems to love it and is performing.

Who says he continued to change the bike til he was lost? Now you’re just making things up to try and make a point.

You don’t call putting a full PC setup suspension wise after he won then switched to another complete different direction with production stuff lost? Get out of here with that crap.

Maybe I’m reinventing history, but didn’t he win when he put the PC stuff on and then Kawi took that off and tried their stuff that was supposed to be “the same”?

No, he won with the factory stuff, then changed it. Then changed it again…and again.

Buddy ur wrong. He won A2 with PC front end then Kawi wouldn’t let him continue to run it , they said we will copy it.

Chase to Ducati.

He falls because he’s not looking far enough ahead.

It almost makes sense that chase is leaving Kawasaki.  We all assumed that for the first time ever they were gonna run THREE 450s.  Well maybe theyre not.  Its going to be just Marchbanks and Malcolm.  No teams here seem likely … but Europe kinda does.  He could go to any of those teams.  Even Kawasaki. If they wont let him out of a contract.  He could take Febvres spot.

Either way, I will bet somebody 5$ That sexton will win more races on whatever brand he lands on.

I don't care what he rides, as long as he punts Deegan into the stands a couple of times.

And adding to the Marchbanks discussion, people have forgot that the SX season was in large not very good and he also said multiple times that they were struggling and testing a lot mid season. Sure, some results were ok (top-10) but that was in the end of the season when he was most of the time finishing as the last factory rider.

Outdoors a different story, that went as good as you could expect him do.

Oh man I die laughing each time I watch this. Full punt. If you freeze it at the right time Harrison is horizontal across his bike with his hands in the air.

Wish he didn’t burn the KTM bridge, that could work out well taking Eli’s spot. They seem to have fixed the shock problems and damn he had some killer rides on that bike.

Everybody says Chase "burned his bridge" with KTM...but did he really? I mean, KTM acknowledged that they were having major issues with the rear suspension, and that was Sextons main concern. Heck, he won races on the KTM when he was under contract. I can easily see KTM courting him to fill Eli's vacancy, even with Coenen coming in for 2027. Eating a little crow might do both the rider and team some good.

I recall it was stated that they were having shock issues BECAUSE Chase was requesting valving outside of ‘normal’ parameters which was overheating it.

What a nonsense post.

To be right at the top of the talent scale, there can be no weaknesses.

It’s like saying I’m right at the top of the Gorbes rich list, I’m just missing a few billion..

Thread is about sexton leaving kawi. Everyday im in disbelief how much Deegan is in so many of your heads 24/7. I’ve never thought about and got this emotional about a guy ever.

Incorrect, other riders had the same issue. Remember Vialle even sat out his last race because he deemed it unsafe.

I do remember that, but I also recall someone saying that Chase & his dad were having a negative influence on Tom.

(“The shock is bad, isn’t it. ISNT IT?”

What other riders on Austrian brand machinery had shock issues?

What a mess for Kawasaki.

I get Chase issues are his own as well, but to see Prado want out last year, and do well with KTM and then now Chase possibly want out also after one year...

How does Kawasaki-Japan not want to clean house of the US team management?

Tondel finished worse going from Privateer Kaw to Factory Kaw

And Fineas also got worse going from Honda to Kaw.

Under reported that Tondel did worse on the factory bike. Needs to be studied haha. Probably just the pressure if I had to guess but you never know.

Hampshire, Prado, may have been others I’m forgetting, but I it did seem to be solely a US problem, not elsewhere.

I bet there are still people on here who insist that everything is perfectly fine under the Kawi rig. nothing to see here!

While in reality, lets face it, it couldnt have gone worse. Sexton’s move really had the potential to prove Prado and everyone who thinks Factory Kawasakii is a mess right now wrong. Instead, it made things even worse, with the constant changes to the bike setup, Sexton complaining in virtually every interview, besides his few wins having his worst 450 SX Season being really inconsistent, and ultimately the weird crash at Thunder Valley, which ended Sextons season, where the team manager handled the situation terribly with the media.
Not to mention how Prado did compared to last year..
