Does he have FU money like Chase or Prado already have at this point? Does he have elite speed with only one goal and expectation of winning? Kawasaki - They need to fire Fahe, and maybe a couple other execs. Last 3-4 years have been atrocious. Chase could still be "in" I think. Honda - no. Yamaha - Maybe. My algorithm keeps bringing him up there, with a decent past relationship. KTM - No. Also, didn't they go through a huge restructuring last year, where they about lost everything? I guess that's why Husky and GasGas disbanded. Suzuki - Seeing the posts here, that looks promising, especially if Roczen retires. Crazy how few people have nuance in their takes. I think it's pretty clear that Factory Kawi is a bit of a mess right now and it certainly is making matters worse. At the same time, Chase is notoriously bad at setting up a motorcycle and gets way too mental about chasing the perfect feel. Both things can be true, and it's pretty obvious.

My guess is that no matter where he ends up, there is language in the contract that puts an end to his public bitchin' about the bike, team, or company... Also, strictly prohibiting the demeaning wearing of branded apparel..! I was surprised that KTM took Prado back. I'll be more surprised if they take Sexton back. Especially since they have the brothers coming and Prado hittin' on all 8. The motivation from a corporate position would be that he's an American and they can probably get him cheap and hungry.

No matter what the truth is behind the Kawasaki/Prado debacle, it sure looks bad for Kawasaki right now.

Trey Canards best finish on KTM was an 8th in supercross and a 12th outdoors. Maybe he just didn't gel with the bike coming off the Honda. He was completely professional in the way he handled the results that were considerably below expectations.

In Gypsy tales with Febvre they talk a little about the Kawi situation with Prado. Febvre & Prado aren’t friends but just talking about his thoughts on it. He doesn’t seem to know much about the US spec bike but he did think his is quite a bit different. Sounded to me like Prado rode the euro spec bike then when he got to America he’s like this is not what I rode , make it like that & they just couldn’t get it there. Been a while since I listened ^^

Two years in a row Kawi has had a top guy in the world not complete a season on their bike. That says enough alone.

The only thing I can think of that would counter that, is. Is Marchbanks being held back from the Kawi. I mean, he's running in or faster than Prado and Sexton. Is it bike limiting? Makes you wonder. Seems the Kawi is good up to about 5th place. Then it gets sketchy???

He did have some pride. So much in fact he wasn’t willing to waste 3 years on an incompetent team.
