7/13/2026 7:21am For the people who keep saying Sacha is stupid for riding over his head and crashing. I don't think you are racers, and if you have raced, you probably rode around at the back of the pack and didn't actually race. Sacha was not pushing too hard when he crashed. Jo crashed, Jett crashed, Hunter crashed, Craig crashed, Romano crashed, RJ crashed, Davies crashed, and countless others. Deegan almost had a big crash. It's called racing. And often, trying to ride slower than your 'normal' pace is the surest way to crash.

7/13/2026 7:20am One of the last 2 mxgp races he crashed hard too. He didn’t win that moto. I think he’is still a crasher. It’s the most fun letting it hang out . But I think you hv to limit the laps of letting it hang out. Or pick your favorite spots to let it hang out.

7/13/2026 7:18am I'd like to see Guillem come back and be the second 250 rider on Triumph next year rather then get bumped up to 450.

7/13/2026 7:18am It was sand. I think if Sacha did the whole season he would win the title but it's not like he would win every race by 30 sec. Thunder valley 2nd moto was a lot closer. But it does show how stacked the MX2 class is. There's 7 riders that are very close: Sacha, Farres, Längenfelder, Mclellan, Everts, J Reisulis, Valin. Probably 4-5 of them could have won Southwick. Maybe not by 30 sec but they're all good in the sand.

7/12/2026 3:43pm Thank god were doing the combines now, we need more than two though! Kids need to race, the test track has its place but its not a replacement for race experience.

7/12/2026 3:37pm So disappointed we didn’t get to see the best of Lucas, but let’s just hope he’s fit and healthy to resume his MXGP title run. As for Sacha; that’s the risk you run with his all or nothing style, absolutely awesome watching him destroy the 250 field. Hope the tough little bastard heals up quick.

7/12/2026 3:33pm If i were their boss Id be pissed. Lucas crash was avoidable. KTM has been so reliable for years & now 2 engine failures this season is not a good look. As for Sacha, the rumour is the rear shock was heating & contributed. Was it cochranes shock smoking in moto 1? & Vialle & RH complained last year the shock has serious issues.

7/12/2026 3:24pm No matter how bad it turns out or in what way it broke, it is pretty fucking unreal to immediately get up, pick up your bike and keep charging like that and even extend the gap to 2nd again. Adrenalin is one hell of a drug. He also seemed kinda dizzy once he took his helmet off. Alien things.

7/12/2026 1:26pm …I’ll tell you what- IF Sacha really did break his collarbone and STILL WON THE MOTO with no goggles in the sand, it has to rank as one of the grittiest rides in AMA motocross in the last decade. And for those of you of a certain age who remember, could this kid be Magoo 2.0? Sacha sacrifices it all to win, much like Danny Chandler did. It boggles the mind to think about this young man lining up for Supercross….

7/12/2026 1:03pm i got a lot of backlash for talking here about this some years back......but the mojo here was that Luongo was the devil and everything he did was wrong, mxgp had no money, tracks were shit, everyone there wanted to race in america and sxwas where the money is and the prime series in the dirt bike world the truth is in america the is no amature championship or series like the national championships each country has in europe and where kid races the same tracks as the mxgp races of that country.....kids dont manage reces, dont learn patience, dont...

7/12/2026 10:58am If Sacha has to sit out a round or two Triumph probably wins the Mx2 title this year. Whatever they're doing in the MXGP at least, it works. I hope they can sign good guys for next years in the US. Swoll looked really good sometimes but it's really hard to judge a team when the riders are permanently out/injured.. And I don't believe Smith would be better on any other bike. The more teams/spots, the better, that's for sure. But they need some consistent riders to build and get dialed in imo.

7/8/2026 12:47pm when Austin hit the scenes, I couldn't stand the kid. Reminded me a lot of Deegan. Totally full of himself, pulled silly antics, etc. As his career went on, he clearly was humbled by his injuries, apparently found a strong foundation of faith, and has focused heavily on his family/kids. Kudos, man. Pops, I know you don't post much anymore, but I'm sure you're skimming this thread: my own son has followed Austin's life path, and I'm currently in the "dumbass phase" of his life. I hope that my own son matures as yours has done, and would be proud...
