Here's another anecdote for you. Back in the 90's my mom (shes a CPA) used to oversee some very large accounts at a bank. She told me one day an older guy probably in his 70's drove up in his old 1970's truck, came in wearing a stained white t-shirt with some well worn overalls and needed some information regarding his account. He had $9mil in the bank. Appearances can be deceiving.

Kenny’s marketing strategy is obviously working. People wondering if he will wear the suit. It’s good for his brand and his sponsors to have people talking about him. He has all season to show case their jersey riddled with logos. It sets him apart from the others, is a professional look, and a good way to get more publicity than just blending in with the other riders. Not saying it’s the way it should be done but it works because no one else does it. AC would be smart to wear one with him. Both would be the most talked about riders at the press conference as silly as it may sound. And in return their sponsors would get more exposure on social media outlets than the 15 minutes of them at the press conference in which the vast majority doesn’t watch.

Back in the day, this sport was about the riders.......... now it is about giant corporations.......
Honestly, the more I think about it, it would be badass if an outside sponsor like Prada paid Kenny to wear a suit. Those types of sponsors attract new people to moto.

They are primarily there to sell products and put on a show. Winning helps a lot. But the sponsors and Feld don’t care about winning, they care about return on investment.

Hell yeah, Adam should wear a suit. "Who wore it better" is a popular section in one of my wife's trash mags. (One of the mags, not one of my wives.... pay attention to the grammar, people!) Grinning

Never really understood the suit in the sense that he claims it's an attempt to make the sport more professional but then shows up to every other press conference wearing the same thing everyone else does. Call it like it is, a publicity stunt.

Who knows if Suzuki riders are born that way, or it's environment. There's no shame in being a Suzuki rider as long as you wear protection, like a good helmet that's the proper size. Don't buy a larger helmet than you need, it's not fooling anyone.

Didn't Kenny also roll into the press conference in a new NSX last year? Any chance the suit, the car, the image wasn't something planned beyond Kenny? Sure looks good for Honda, and Kenny.
