Under Biden, immigration surged to 200,000-300,000 per month until December '24, likely due to winter and Biden/Harris's Presidential Campaign kicked into gear. Now the numbers are flat at around 30,000 per month.
This year (up to May) there have been 135,000 deportations. Compare that with the deportations of past Presidents, and it's shocking!

Ai isn't just fucking over Hollywood, homie, it's coming for pretty much everyone who doesn't own an Ai company and it's happening at a much faster rate than I think anyone is aware of. We're just seeing it hit the arts first because a majority of that work is done exclusively on computers. I hope it doesn't get as dark as the direction it's heading (it's getting pretty dark in my industry) but I have little faith in anyone at the top to do much to protect the people further down the ladder because they've shown us time and time again, profits over people.

It would be an AMAZING thing... if those jobs were going to be done by people. But by the time we develop a proper pipeline and elevate the level of technology to straighten this stuff out (while aiming to be competitive price wise) all of that shit is going to be done via Ai and automation, which yes will have to have a handful of people around to maintain it, but it'll will reduce the work force from 100 to 1 which is going to cause 1000x more problems in this country than what we're being told we're experiencing with illegal immigration.
Don't get me wrong, as a business owner myself, I am always exploring more ways to be efficient but at a certain point we have to ask ourselves, "What's better for the health of America, more people with jobs or more money in the pockets of a few?".
