You cant base the success of any series on how good the racing is, it has to stack up financially, OR have someone who is prepared to suck up the losses. We are a very 'benefactor' led sport, at lot of the 'investment' is simply folk setting fire to money, for the love of the sport, the money makers are not the ones putting on the show, Bottom line matters, if you cant attract enough investment , its a fairly short journey to insolvency.
