ILLEGAL

So, there’s always that.

I'll just quote this one as you've made it very clear again. So these undocumented immigrants, or as you like to call them "illegal aliens", that aren't blood thirsty murderers or rapists or gang members, even though they are hard working people with great character and a benefit to the community and society as a whole, heck maybe they're even "literally the most quality people you'd ever want to live among". Because they're undocumented, the best thing to do is sweep these communities, destroy the families they've created and ship them off vs. offering amnesty? You keep stressing ILLEGAL so yes, I will interpret that as you want them either locked up or removed since you won't just say it outright.

I don't think anybody will disagree with deporting undocumented people who have been caught committing crimes, that's not an argument thats taking place.

Not only that, if you don't have your ID but can provide a name, birthdate, social security number, etc they can easily verify your identity. This notion that people who are citizens that just forgot their ID at home and are being deported is total fantasy.

People are being detained by ICE, then deported without access to lawyers, and without a day in court. This is open to abuse.

Yeah I'm fine with it.... nobody is deciding innocence or guilt, they're just looking at facts and acting on them. What do you think a lawyer is going to tell them that will change the facts as they relate to their legal status in the country? I'm glad they're just going by the book and not letting lawyers tell judges some sob story to try to delay things.

Until a judge determines they are "facts", they are allegations.

But I'm sure will be OK with, it when they come after you.

Do all of you who are defending all of the current immigration mess by constantly bringing up January 6 feel as though nobody should have been prosecuted or that those who were should be pardoned? Just curious....  because you keep bringing it up and implying that what's legally happening with the rioters or illegal immigrants is somehow similar to January 6th which resulted in a ton of prosecutions and lives destroyed?

Not sure you're making the argument you think you are by constantly bringing up this entirely unrelated thing that happened........

I'm not watering down anything and you liking truck's post says it all. Just say what you mean like he did bro, why do you have reservations?

"yes we are OK with people who are here illegally being deported" You co-signed that.

I don't see it as such a black-and-white issue and it seems you know saying it flat out like that isn't something you aren't exactly comfortable doing. You guys going "these guys are great members of our community but unfortunately they gotta go" because the difference of being legal and illegal is fucking paperwork (often times which is in the process of being filed) is odd to me. And that doesn't even begin to step into the fact that US citizens or legal immigrants are being caught up in this mass deportation mess because it's being handled so poorly.

Bringing up Jan 6 is not a defense to the LA ICE riots. I’m pointing out that if you are upset by the crime and destruction from the ICE riots, remember that president Trump pardoned the people from Jan 6 who did the same type of crime and destruction. I’m pointing out the hypocrisy in our current president and the people who back him.

Don't know why you got a downvote for that, it is factually correct. A Real ID would be more valuable in terms of citizenship as long as every option you're allowed to use for documents were also valid for citizenship, but the last item is "document reflecting TPS benefit eligibility", which is why is falls back to a secondary evidence. Sounds like even a printed letter would qualify, not actually having temporary protected status, but just a letter saying "yeah you're probably eligible".

You seem to be very invested in US/California politics for someone in Kangaroo Country? Though, for sure, your cursory knowledge of California in general is sorely lacking, and it shows in your posts.

We already saw how that movie ended back with Regan. Keep up with history my friend maybe then we can get on the same page.

Hey want to know a fun fact ? Besides my knee was killing me today so I took a gummie a norco, 3 advil and drank 2 beers so I'm kind of on truth serum ? I know illegals that are the chillest MF'ers you'll ever meet. They work their asses off, they're low key, don't bother anyone, treat everyone with respect, would give you the shirt off their backs, and they're funnier than shit. Literally the most quality people you'd ever want to live among. No bullshit. The criminal gang member piles of shit that are waving Mexican flags and destroying shit are giving these guys a bad rap, and it's not fair. It flat out sucks.  They're are some A+ quality "Illegals" here. The bad apples are fucking it up for all of them and it's sad. I'll hang with these guys over some spoiled white trash tweaker pos allll damn day... Ok I'm out bad knee day sorry

Dearest fool that knows nothing…

Sumdood and I BOTH spend a lot…have spent a lot…of time in Mexico. We are stoked on the Mexican people. We are not stoked in the shit-bags that’re attempting to burn down L.A. in these “mostly peaceful” protests. We’re not stoked on the criminal element that’s grown among the illegals alien community these last few years.

And, again, you aren’t too smart, are you? Now, go back to telling me what or who I am…it’s fucking priceless. 🤣

You Can Not Make These Idiots Up

Especially The Self-Righteous POMEs.

The point I was unsuccessfully ? trying to make was there's good immigrants here as well bad immigrants here. That's all. Just like there's good cops and bad cops. Ideally the ones with criminal backgrounds get deported. And the ones here working with no criminal records or arrests are given the chance to stay by going through the proper channels. Like it's supposed to work . I know "Just being here is a crime so therefore they are criminals" mindset is popular. But I'm having a hard time calling the hard working ones who came her for a better life criminals. Hell we opened up the door and made it easy for them, how can you blame them for coming here, why wouldn't they ?  Anyway, those guys are ok in my book, they're not out stirring up shit, they're just laying low and trying to work hard for better life. The Mexican flag waving rioters aren't doing them any favors.

Starting here in Vegas now. Was going decent until they started taking over the roadways near Fremont. Of course agitators ruined it all and started throwing frozen water bottles at officers and a couple of fireworks. Not nearly as bad as LA though.

I watched some of the shit-show last night on Youtube. It seems the Mexican flag waving, is the Mexicans saying that the land was stolen from them, and they want it back. Sounds like the same rhetoric we experience here in South Africa.

Once all those illegal aliens are deported, whom of you will take over all the jobs they worked?

You ever think that maybe it's not that Americans (or legal immigrants) won't do the jobs, but rather they won't do the jobs for the low wage that illegals are willing to do them for?

You are exactly right. Unfortunately the price of your roof, fence, driveway, etc just went up. That dinner is gonna cost a little more too since the dish washer in the back is getting paid more.

Even if you increase wages, there are simply not enough americans to do the jobs.

Its not like this "all illegals need to go" show wasn't tried before. Alabama did the same exact thing years ago and it was an economic desaster.

“Keep ‘em around so we can treat them like slave labor so prices don't go up” is a pretty bold take. Probably not the one I would have gone with, but hey, you do you.

You sound like a broken record, I'll type this slowly so you can understand...

"Real IDs" are not recognized by the federal government as proof of citizenship, if they were, they could be used to obtain a US passport.

Two homebuilds ago, a new bricklaying crew was being used on a house our regular crew didn't have time for.

Crew consisted entirely of non english speakers.

I went to take field measurements for my work, their food garbage, and construction trash were everywhere.

And saw boxes of wall ties lying in the dirt unopened.

Looked closely and saw an entire wall 3/4 up, with no wall ties installed.

Informed our homebuilder.

He made them tear down the entire wall, and the wall on the front of the garages.

None had ties.

Next day, neither hide nor hair of that crew showed.

Sub bailed out when they were going to be held responsible for their mess.

Trust me, no home is being built "cheaper" because a subcontractor uses criminal illegal immigrants as their labor.

The cost/scale for sq footage of any particular portion of a homebuild is what it is.

The subcontractors bid the job based on the that, then cuts corners by using cheap criminal illegal immigrant labor.

He's profiteering, and none of the cost cutting is ultimately passed on to the cost of the build.

Now I know that flies in the face of the narrative that is being fed to some of you, but that's the reality out in the real world.

And as for the photo posted above, a frame inspection would bust that bullshit right away.

And at that point, every other sub would be stopped dead in the water from doing their job, until the framing passed inspection.

Not so efficient in the long run.

And Clinton signed a bill speeding up the deportation process. Without the due process bullshit.

And he and obama deported shit tons of criminal illegal immigrants.

Without the professional rioters getting their soiled panties in a knot.

Kennedy also deployed the nation guard.

Don't forgot how we're going to fill the stop gap, Joey! With big scary criminals! Not only can we pay them less than immigrants we found out – thanks to these beautiful ice raids – how few fucks people give about their fellow man if you convince them they're bad people so we can shift the goal post a teenie tiny bit and round up even more people, legal or not!!! GOOOOooooooo TEAM! Capitalism! WOOHOO! Get rid of the immigrants so the billionaire robot builders can make more money!!! XOXO

Exactly.

Legal skilled labor being infused back into our trades would be the best thing to happen to our nation.

Leading to a shift back in our education system, towards those skills being introduced to young people.

Just like it was when I was growing up.

Getting away from this white collar degree based system we have now.

A system that's left a gaping hole in our trades, that being filled with criminal illegal immigrants.

It's making college's rich, and doing nothing to make our nation's manufacturing capabilities better.

Not to mention creating a generation that doesn't hate the country they're a part of.

It won't happen overnight.

But it has to start somewhere.
