I grew up in New Jersey, about ten minutes from where Trump spends most of his time in Bedminster. In a house that was over 230yrs old when we moved out, that house was awesome looking back now.

I was working on my friend's dad's farm from early double digit age stacking bails up in the hotass old barn. I got a job at the grocery store on my 14th birthday. I graduated high school in 3yrs, and spent what would be my senior year working landscaping 60+ hrs a week mostly to cover my moto obsession since my parents had nothing to do with dirt bikes. In college, I worked about 30-35hrs a week at a bike shop in Muncy PA to pay for rent and food.

Right now I'm designing a microprocessor controlled knee for amputees.

Trump now says “Well maybe the ‘good ones’ can stay”. In typical Trump fashion, he breaks something, ruins thousands of lives in the process, gets called up by industry leaders that go “Hey, WTF are you doing? You’re fucking the bag up. You’re going to tank the economy.” and then he slowly rolls back the shit he hastily implemented. Meanwhile all the sycophants who were cheering “I voted for this!” as they watched families being torn apart adopt the new position as “of course the good ones can stay, it’s common sense!”

So for the folks there were just in here saying anyone who is here illegally must be deported, what is your reaction to this news?

Seems odd that he’d suddenly be looking at easing up on enforcement for hotel/hospitality sectors. Can anyone explain why he’d do that?

Have you noticed that we…well…me…and I think most of us do…look back on stacking hay fondly? Now, I’m pretty sure I didn’t back then! 🤣

Nah. I like turtle boy. Reminds me of myself as a kid.
I just like inserting off topic memes/pics regardless of the conversation. Kinda like women beach volleyball players.

If we had to wait for permits for the hhg rig.  We did all kinds of utility projects in nyc threw the 90,s.  I heard it from the union guys he did some shady stuff to get rid of the high wage union men. And bring in illegals to do the work. All kinds of contractors do it. And if you pay the right people off it’s easy to do. They don’t care if it’s built wrong as long as it’s done cheap. It’s just politics for television now.

I had a Stratus 20 years ago or so,  that thing would slot-car thru chicanes like a F1 car.   Miss that thing.

Back before hay squeezes became popular i bucked a lot of hay to peak out a hay barn. These hay hooks may be older than me. It's a skill to buck hay, using your lower body and momentum, especially when we switched from 2 tie bales to 3 tie 130lb alfalfa bales.

It's a young man's game at that weight.

Awesome picture, great setup. I was too small to be able to use hooks well it felt like at the time, finger in the strings fella here (and just kept rolling with it when I got tall). I was a scrawny fuck when I was young so I was the one at the top of the stack in the barn getting bails into final stack, I would basically sit on and body slam bails into position. When you're 50 bails high you want em packed tight eh. You learn how to use your body when you are swinging bails over your head that are more than half your body weight.

Old Hay elevator on that farm shattered a few bones in my hand and I had my first surgical experience. Same elevator took my friends older brothers arm off mid forearm from sleeve getting caught in PTO shaft off the tractor. Gerry finally retired that piece of equipment. That man put the fear of God in me more times than I can count when I was young haha.

You must be woke.

I am sorry you feel this way, it was not my intention.

Food for thought - instead of trolling other people with your drivel all day, go out and do something for yourself, or better yet, those around you, that is positive and meaningful. Something you might feel proud of and want to maybe even talk about with others, instead of attacking and trolling all day (from your woke ass position of privilege).

Here's more self serving shit...I'll be up at sunrise tomorrow to go hike up luge trail in Trabuco Canyon with my dog to continue the trim work I started a few weeks ago. I ride this trail all the time, so I benefit from it being trimmed. Thousands of other people in my community do too. Self serving? Sure, and it clears my mental cache beating the shit out of weeds for a few hours... But it benefits the community around me I care about, too. This is value engineering baby.

Be the change you want to be in the world. However, if this is is an example of what you are and want to instill on the world I take it back, cause it sounds like you suck. Have a good one brotha.

I'll get off my high horse...which is actually a tired yz250 haha.

2 stories from back in the day when we used to sell 3 string bales to the public.

Big brother baled up some 3rd cutting timothy hay which the exporters did not want so we were selling it by the pickup/trailer load to whomever local. These 2 guys showed up in a flatbed truck...big truck. When the driver opened the door the empty box of beer dropped out. His buddy...a BIG guy...230lb+, hopped out the passenger side all ready to buck some fucking hay!

Big brother and I proceeded to work these sorry ass town guys to death.🤣 The big guy had no technique and thought each bale was a bench press where as i was using my legs and being 60lbs lighter was  making him look silly. 😉 They were breathing so hard!

Second story, and this one ...I feel a bit bad but it is what it is. When my regular buyer would kick out bales that were not up to snuff I would place an add in the local paper and sell the "kickouts" by the bale to locals. Quite often it was horse quality alfalfa but with a blemish or 2.

This woman answered my add and came out with her teen aged daughter...and her daughters boyfriend for a ton of hay ......Oh no!!!

I felt so bad!...., as it became obvious that the daughters boyfriend was supposed to be the hay buck to load the pickup. I am sure he was eager to prove his strength and manliness to his chick whilst bucking hay. Problem was...the bales were 130lbs and he must have been 125lbs. Poor kid couldn't do shit. sigh.

I loaded the ton of hay they wanted by myself, accepted payment but.... silently felt jealous of the young guy as I never had a girlfriend at age 15!

Screw that kid! 😆
