My take is based on the fact that KTM took arguably the best bike on the track (Coop’s last title), messed with it, went backwards results-wise, and haven’t been on top since. Yamaha did the exact same thing, after DF dominated the outdoors, they changed the bike and he was never the same on it. Craig and Mookie have never reached their previous levels on the Husky, so that is also factoring into my thoughts. I’m hoping DF goes into outdoors healthy as I want to see what he can do on the Honda outdoors!

I remember 25 years ago at our local western hockey league games, if you were trying to return to your seat when there was play on the ice, the seating attendants made you wait till there was a break in the action before they let you pass. I'm actually curious about the timeline because many MXGP contracts run longer than US contracts into the off-season. So I'm really curious to see when it gets announced. Somehow in all other motorsports, moves can be announced a year or more in advanced! But not in our little niche ass-backwards sport.

No stock classes, loads less classes in general, and nobody races 2 classes. So many championships now that nobody knows who the fast guys really are, bar for a few stand outs.

One thing for sure is their coverage of the race is top notch and our boys from this side of the pond should pay attention to how to properly cover a race!! No fillers or bs just flat out racing!!
