I think that’s Ando’s point; Deegan got 10th after coming through from the back in moto 1 while fresh and on a factory bike, while Roan got a similar result from the back in moto 2 on a bike with a stock engine. Meanwhile one guy’s a ‘star’ and the other’s a ‘no one’. Which result is more impressive?

I think by now there’s enough evidence that we can’t correlate anything Deegan did in the 250 class to the 450 class. Van de Moosdijk just came from 33rd to 10th on a stock 450 and he’s a sand specialist.

Anyone watching can see what Hunter is now capable of. He has clearly developed the strength/skills/fitness/will to attack ANYONE in the last 10 minutes of the moto when they are suffering, reel them in, and then immediately gap them and check out. Jett, Degan, Prado, doesn't matter. Lucas? We will see. Did you see how pissed off he was when he yelled "FUCK!" for the cameras behind the podium after his little tip over? That is one strong and focused young man.

Two other guys I’m looking out for this weekend: 450’s - Roan Van de Moosdijk came from 33rd to 10th in moto 2 at Redbud on a stock engine. Being Dutch he’s a sand specialist. 250’s - Kayden Minnear is also a sand specialist from here in Western Australia. We have lots of deep sand tracks not unlike the Netherlands.

Because he goes and does it . Mewse has already announced he isnt doing Foxhills. The Honda is a way better bike than the Triumph, it has had 50 years of development, how can it not be. Mewse is on a very good team, run by a 3 time World Champion, with A Kit Suspension, which makes a massive difference. Watson held the Red Plate until Round 4 , even though he had a crash at round 2. What a shit career move that was from Watson. And i said it when it got announced, i did not understand how some people (incl. Lewis) were excited by the move. Still to this day i haven't seen a guy go from being a full-time GP rider to European rounds only and become better/take steps forward in their careers.

Peak Sacha Coenen today. Blazing fast in practice, blazing fast first moto with several crashes and coming back until the end. Holeshot moto 2, lead the way, get sketchy a few times, win the moto in dominating fashion. Just amazing to see these two brothers going for it and live their dream
