9/15/2024 3:44pm I'm around 95kg without gear. It's a very fun bike and when ridden perfectly still pulls me around no worries at all. I ride alot of deeper dirt and hilly tracks and that is where it struggles the most. I definitely wouldn't have it as my only bike, it's a fun bike as a second bike but I'm not sure...

9/15/2024 7:09am The 250 is mellow, you need to ring its neck everywhere which is fun, makes me feel like a hero. You need to be in the right gear to make it work. The 300 stock was too abrupt for me off the bottom and then signed off too early. I had my ecu remapped by twisted. It’s super linear now. The power character of the 300 with the remap is awesome. I can carry 3rd around a bit more when I’m getting tired and lazy. If your into lap times I actually had the 23 350sxf too. I was 1-2...

9/15/2024 4:06am Yeah i agree people's perspectives of how a bike feels can vary greatly. It's probably not completely accurate for me to say the 350 feels way stronger off the bottom, it's more the way the power comes on. I like to use 3rd as much as possible and felt the 350 could pull that in more corners where as I...

9/15/2024 3:56am Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. I love my 350 and keeping that as my main bike. I just picked up a 25 150sx and as much as i love it i think im a bit heavy for it. Sounds like the 250sx can be ridden alot more like a 150 than the 300 can be.

9/14/2024 4:13pm How does the character of the engines compare? I'm not too bothered about outright power more the style of the power. I didn't really like the way the 300 delivered its power, is the 250 actually that much different?

9/14/2024 4:08pm Yeah I agree the midrange hit was pretty gnarly and definitely more tiring than 350sxf. I just felt it lacked alot in the bottom end compared to the 350, then come on very strong but signed off really early. I bought it thinking it would be my main MX bike but for me the 350 is better for that. It...

9/14/2024 7:05am That's strange, that's what I didn't like about my 300sx compared to my 350sxf. I felt like you couldn't lug it or rev it, it had to be ridden right in the midrange. It never had enough grunt to pull 3rd and it would just fall on its face when you revved it out. Thought it might have just been...

9/13/2024 6:37am Yeah sorry I didn't mean comparable as in actual power. Just meaning the 250sx might feel a bit more playful and 2 strokish than the 300sx. Chad Reed kinda hinted in one of his videos that his 25 250sx is more fun and exciting to ride than the 300. Wondering if anyone else had the same feeling.

9/12/2024 8:57pm Just wondering if anyone knows how the new 300sx compares to the new 250sx? I had a 23 300sx and didn't really gel with it. Have a 25 150sx and love it but it struggles with my fat ass on softer dirt. Wondering if the 250sx feels a bit more 150ish or similar to 300?

9/11/2024 6:13pm Thanks for your detailed response, it is very appreciated. I've been wanting to get a set of your clamps for awhile but the exchange rate in Australia is terrible at the moment. Think I might just have to bite the bullet, it's only money hey 🤣

9/11/2024 4:21pm From a geometry standpoint, triple clamp offset and rake are two rather different things. However, increasing offset will result in similar handling changes to increasing rake. Both are noticeable to most riders. If you’re the kind of rider who can go three laps without noticing a flat tire, then these may not be for you! But if you can feel the difference when you adjust your clickers, you’ll feel the difference here. The right way to alter rake is to use what’s typically referred to as “offset races” (not to be confused with fork offset). These are bearing races custom...

9/11/2024 2:48pm I doubt I could feel 1/3 of a degree in rake change. I did feel the difference in the 23.5mm offset clamps vs the 22mm clamps on my 23 CRF450R.

9/11/2024 7:17am I have played with settings quite a bit and have a well setup set of kyb forks on my bike. I'm currently running the forks flush so can't really go much further on that. I guess that is really my question, what will make more of a difference, 1/3 of a degree in rake or 1.5mm change in offset? Or...

9/11/2024 6:32am I don't have any major complaints, I actually really like my bike. I mainly like trying different things on bikes cos I can ha ha. But if I'm being picky I feel like I could use a little more stability in the front end entering fast choppy corners.

9/11/2024 5:43am I have a 23 ktm 350sxf and it seems alot of people like the 23.5mm offset triple clamps on the 23+ chassis. This was something I was contemplating trying but I see FCP have released there race cups for the ktm. I'm wondering if i might be better off going with the race cups instead of the 23.5 clamps as...

9/3/2024 3:14am Running 4.9nm so 0.50kg fork springs. Bike seems nice and balanced just the shock feels slightly soft overall but mainly at the end of the stroke. Could probably get it good with a revalve.
