I've been hearing from vast sources... The only way to fix the '23 KTM Chassis, is to sell it and go buy a Yamaha. 🤣

If they only had a 350!

I did 3 motos this weekend,  then fitted these engine mounts and did another 3 motos.

Even with a rougher track, I could notice a difference and it was positive.

Those with 23, 24 bikes it's worth giving them a try since it's the least expensive option to try.

Also notice, the bolt hole is elongated, oval on the mount that attaches to the cylinder., so it must provide fore aft movements.

The bolt hole is elongated to account for the large tolerance stack up between all the parts. The mount itself very much should not be moving against the engine when properly tightened down.

Nothing is perfect and everything will vary a little bit from what it ideally should be. It's not a problem if something varies within a certain tolerance limit. But when you have multiple pieces that all come together and need to meet up in the end, each one of those tolerances adds up to a larger uncertainty. That elongated mount hole ensures that the mount still bolts fits, even when all those parts are one one side of the tolerance (undersize) or the other (oversize).

Back in the day, I think it was kawi 125s used to leak at head gasket..... top tip was to elongate that hole on the head stay.... only thing I am going off.

I surprised how elongated rhe hole was, especially since it was such a tight fit to mount them up.

Fwiw, I was surprised i could tell the difference, but I could and it was positive.  At least for me and that's about the best I could describe it.

The big hole in the middle of the mount is why it feels different. The stock mounts also have that slotted hole for the mounting bolt.

Finally got to ride my ‘24 350 with the RideJBI DIY fork kit. I’m impressed. Track was really quite rough, as usual, and the forks had no harshness on the big downhill bumps or braking bumps. Handled the hard jump landings well. Seemed to feel more planted on corner entry too. I see no need to do any more mods to the forks. Very happy now. I also have the ‘25 engine mounts. I can’t say that was a major change, perhaps a little softer feel.

Did the engine mounts change in 25 for the 2 strokes?

Just looking at pics, I’d say no.
