1/13/2024 8:36pm Surely better than not racing at all? Do you realise how much it takes to put on an event like SX? You can’t just ‘move it to a different day’. This is a predominantly outdoor sport and you have to deal with all variables and conditions. The track was the same for everyone

1/13/2024 2:08pm Yeah riding in the mud on Dutch and Belgian sand tracks is not the same as riding in the mud on SX track with SX suspension. Straight into 10 minutes qualifying in those conditions is far from ideal. Coming out of it in one piece with a half decent gate pick is job done from his perspective

I find it very interesting that people always say Webb has mental strength, yet I see the opposite- bare with me….. I enjoyed Webb’s game playing and seeming tenacity at first, but then I saw that it was really only in play when everything was going well. It’s easy to be strong minded and psych the competition out when you’re at the top of your game. However, what we saw when things weren’t going well painted a different picture. There was the “best off season ever”; how’d that play out? “I get paid to race”; then quit the season…..there’s plenty...

1/10/2024 4:48am In 2019 I don’t think there was really anyone who was clearly faster than him. Marvin and Tomac beat him here and there but he was clearly the best guy all year. In 2021 Roczen was faster than him but he also had issues of his own that meant he couldn’t really put a full season or even full races...

This. A Yamaha 250 (during a time when they clearly had a significant advantage) in a regional series while being 30(?) years old. The stars aligned for him that year, and people forget that Hunter was much closer to him than what most people remember. Both won 4 races each. Hunter had a bad one at A3 and they still finished with only 10 points difference in the standings. Craig is obviously a fantastic rider, and looks often incredible good on a bike. But the 450 class is just a whole different animal, especially in SX when the field is...

To be honest, i did not expect anything else. I think he has been way overrated the last 1-2 years, i don't see how he should be able to finish in the top 10 with a full healthy field. And being a 12th-16th place guy is not a disaster, lots of people would like to be that good.

1/6/2024 5:45pm That heat race from Craig was a disaster. He was right on Kenny’s rear wheel on the first lap and he got passed by Sexton in the end who crashed in the first turn and had to free his bike before he got going

Short didn’t make the night show which is bummer for everyone involved and in sure they’ll be super disappointed at that but at best he’s a guy who can just about sneak into a main and he’s on a bike he has very little...

Yes you’ve hit the nail on the head. Everyone here speculating his chances, believe me he wouldn’t line up if he didn’t think he could win. Sure he may have a bad night, All top pros do & always well at times, but they’re no doubt the people around him have seen enough to know. I bet he ends up putting some seasoned sx pros a lap down.
