3/7/2024 4:52am If you’re just talking popularity, viewer numbers, money etc, then obviously 450SX is the most prestigious. If you add in history and how difficult it is to win, then I think MXGP is at least in the conversation

MX vice lost me last year when one of their writers said 97-98 John Dowd wasn’t elite when I correctly pointed out to them how good he was they argued to save their article. Haven’t read any of their uninformed dribble since.

With Prado likely moving on next season, Herlings and Febvre coming towards the end of their careers it could be one of the last great seasons we see of this era. Prado will be more ready than anyone having already been racing at a very high level this year, Gajser looked incredible in pre-season...

3/5/2024 3:59am It’s only pre-season but Vlaanderen didn’t look that great at Lierop. He went 3-3 I believe but from what I saw he followed Jacobi around for almost the entire first moto. Jacobi is a good rider but you’d expect Vlaanderen to beat him fairly handily, especially on a track like Lierop

I'm kinda bummed. I've lost a big chunk of my passion for the GPs for a couple of reasons. MX Vice during the Lewis reign was basically the only proper outlet that attended the races and created proper content for the series. Sure Lewis have continued with the Vital GP podcasts with Wheeler and they're great but it's just not the same as being at the races. Lewis made MX Vice, unfortunately it started dying the second he moved to USA. And i see no other media/content creators stepping up and taking that role? But either way, still going to...

Herlings looks in a much better spot than he did last year where he wasn’t really close to winning any of the races at Hawkstone. yea it's going to be pretty boring watching Prado vs Herlings vs Gajser vs Febvre vs Seewer vs Renaux vs Geerts vs Fernandez vs Vlaanderen vs Coldenhoff in MXGP, not to mention the most open MX2 championship we've potentially had in a while too combined with the electric bike thread, i sometimes wonder if people in the UK actually like motocross at all

It's been covered already numerous times that this version of test bike used the CRF restyle kit that's been available for a few years. The actual Ducati plastics that have now been unveiled are nothing like these, so you don't need to worry about it not matching the seat or flapping around...
