to be fair.... there are more spectators here (at this GP anyway) than the Glen Helen GPs and the Jacksonville one and like i said, the facility is amazing and definitely more than the "car park" tracks like Losail was

i don't think they will show it, but at this round and at the one in Pengkal Pinang, there have been Indonesian 85cc and 250 races and they are using these races as a building block to start off an initiative of getting young riders into the sport but ... more »

the whole facility is pretty damn awesome...... decent elevation, massive wide track and some big jumps (although obviously not everyone likes them on here) it wouldn't look out of place anywhere in the world

It was legit snowing at Valkenswaard this year too, in fact much colder than Hawkstone ( i was at both)... Should we stop going there as well? People just love to complain and probably don't even go to the events or never had any intention of going to ... more »

It's amazing that Hawkstone can run in February without half of the infrastructure... You obviously get good English weather updates in Finland though so perhaps you know better than the promotor who has been doing it for over 10 years

Ask Ben Watson if he believed that he should have been in the team last year.... he'll tell you no.....and seeing as we got on the podium, i don't see how anyone can really complain about the team that was chosen as for this year.... i guess we wait ... more »

Bikes go in crates, as does a lot of the work benches and anything that those bikes need. The bigger the team, the more freight they have. Smaller teams will occasionally fly with some stuff if needed but generally that doesn't happen too much. As for ... more »

i think any family who does motocross has to be 'doing alright' haha, this certainly isn't a cheap sport! as for why i was there... it was to do a story on Enzo for the META magazine (volume 2 or 3, i forget), which i helped out with on a couple of editions.
