Thanks for the update Phil 👍
Good results from Gifting, seems he´s better on the 450.
He was very good, surprised me to be honest.
Best race was the first one, he was right in there from the start.
Hope he can carry his form into the season.
Thanks for the vid!
Jeff seems super relaxed, I like that. Bet he still has laser focus on the season.
Looks ready for sure 🤞
Great days racing in all classes, some parts of the track were causing problems for all riders at times. I love to race this track but today I was glad to be this side of the fence
I could have sworn I read somewhere last year that Coldenhoff was retiring at the end of last season? Did something change, or am I losing my mind?
You must be, I don’t remember reading that.
I don’t remember reading that but he didn’t look ready for retirement this weekend. 3 really strong rides for him.
Herlings looks in a much better spot than he did last year where he wasn’t really close to winning any of the races at Hawkstone. Suspect we’ll still see some arm pump issues for him on Saturday’s, but everything else about his game looks good.
I’m a bit worried for Seewer, there were some rumblings a month or so ago that he wasn’t getting on with the Kawi as well as he would like, and although he got better throughout the day yesterday he looked really uncomfortable. Especially early in the day, 12th in Timed practice, 7th in the first moto, he looked a fair way off where he was with the Yamaha. He won Sommieres last week so there’s obviously some positives there, but they still have a bit of work to do in the softer stuff I would suggest
He's not even close to thinking about retirement.
Pit Row
Yes, his answer to that Irish bloke saying his Fantic contract for 2 years was probably going to be the last one Coldenhoff would have was good.
A question I have is : was Barry Turnbull out there on one of his CR500s this year? He's gone from an 87, then a 89 (and, perhaps others), he's got another 12 years of models to go through!
Perhaps he was riding at 80%. Hawkstone is brutal and I doubt he was taking any chances. Time will tell I guess...
No, Barry Turnbull was a no-show.
I was talking to his brother last week and he said he didnt get his arse into gear in time.
Poor lol.

Track looks incredible..
It's a beast and has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate it
From the footage I’ve seen, it didn’t look like they was doubling into the bomb hole. Was it super sketchy before it?
I posted the race vid earlier but it’s disappeared?
The only guy to continue doing it all day was Van Donnik, it was very heavy going and rough in the turn and up to the take off. The part of the track which seemed to consistently give riders tough moments was the straight and table top take off before the bridge after the bomb hole.
