What happens if Prado gets the red plate in SX?

Getting through these three rounds healthy without any major crashes or issues will already be an accomplishment. We have seen really experienced Supercross guys not even handling 5 rounds of SX in either 250s or 450s without any big crashes or issues. Prado is one of the most talented riders on this earth - and really calculated - but I think we should stay calm here.

What would probably happen is he'd get a lot of attention because of the impressive thing he'd done..

Nobody's saying he will have the red plate after 3 rounds, it's a hypothetical, if he did have the red plate what would he do!

I dont know for what reason some people wants Prado fails...

What ever Mxgp World champion is, he should be repect because not to often you can see an mxgp Rider trying his BEST in Sx Usa...

Hopefully he’s able to go back to Europe healthy.  With all due respect he’s amazing, but A1 is a different animal. When he comes back full time with some races under his belt, then maybe a red plate at some point.

I know this isn't a "what place does Prado get" thread, but (and I love the guy) he has no chance at a red plate.  If the top 15 guys get swallowed up by a sink hole at A1, maybe, probably not.  Leaving top 10 would be excellent.

That’s Prado crashing, there’s another video from another angle on X and it was nasty. I would be surprised if he walk away from that without bruises.

Red plates are nice, What happened to the purple plate/gold number one from the old days?

Prado is a great starter and a terrific rider, but at best, he's the fourth fastest guy in MXGP, IF we put him in front of Febvre.

84, 243 and 959 all typically run well in front of 61.

As we all know, SX is a different game from MX. Prado has some of Bayle's smoothness, but I doubt he will run at the front from the start like JMB did.

 

We shall see. A1 is only a couple of weeks away.
