100% Sexton was in a similar situation when he moved from Honda to KTM. It was well documented that they were having trouble getting the bike set up for him. So this isn't a new situation. It's all about how you handle it. Sexton always rode hard, was very competitive, and didn't blame it all on KTM. He just kept grinding it out until they figured it out. Prado would do well to take a lesson from that.

Bloody hell. Looking at that video, and with him nearly crying in the interview with Lewis Philips, you have to imagine he's absolutely done mentally.

He also said in one of those interviews that he was happy with the engine package. Go figure.

All I know is that getting a top 2 start and dropping to 10th in one lap without crashing is just embarrassing. They were passing Prado like he was a C rider and it isn't the bikes fault.

I think he referred to the power. Chase has obviously ridden the Kawi, and it sounds like he got to test one of Prado's engine packages. Spoke a bit to much i think 😄 I mean Herlings said the same "I would kill myself If i had Prado's (KTM) engine". That's promising for Chase. Power will not be an issue.

Variation with track prep should be a goal for track owners/ operators…hopefully local track owners will back off the constant over water rip it deep concept….The racing looked great at Shoug…never been there, Someday…

I thought the prep was great. What you said about guys having to tiptoe around I thought was the best part. It was a completely different dynamic that the riders have not faced yet this year and it showed in the results. That first moto chase was so smooth and planted, he was making Jett look sloppy. It was amazing that when the track isn’t ripped up to their ear lobes and requires more throttle control that the racing dynamic changes quite a lot.

Did anyone catch Jett moving George the hell out of the way at the start of moto 1 at the bottom of horsepower hill. He showed him absolutely no respect.

I hope he doesn’t change teams next year. I don’t know how many more years he can take “learning the new bike”. I like what other people are saying, though. He literally seems like the only person that doesn’t give a fuck that the guy he’s battling has “DEEGAN” on the back of his jersey. Great ride for Jo. Its cool to hear Chase just come right out and admit the mistake he made. It's a really good sign.

Seems to me his ego is getting in the way of his brain and ability. He continually says he can win with the right bike yet drops anchor against privateers on basically stock motorcycles. World class riders do not get dropped by plumbers with full time jobs during the week.

Now imagine Gibson is paying you buttloads of money to play said guitar and you continually give up every concert the moment you make a mistake and trash Gibson about it. If Dan at Dasa is still doing the motors he'll get every ounce of horsepower out of that engine configuration that is possible I have worked with him back in the 90s the dude would literally lock himself in the R&D room for 48 hours at a time making power he don't quit!

Realistically he should be a consistent top 5 guy and top ten regardless of misfortunes or crashes. Those severe fades are impossible for someone of his ability.

I thinks it’s pretty telling that he’s been shopping around for rides in MXGP and not a different brand in the US. He’s completely defeated. Honestly the whole Prado thing is weird when you think about it. He comes to the US and signs a huge deal with a bum shoulder that he didn’t even tell the team about, gets surgery to fix it and is now putting around the track and looking for a ride in MXGP in the process. Kawasaki got played, for real.
