Just over a decade now, when the Freeride 250 2 stroke came out, I put forward that That, and the 350 4stroke, should be made in India. Inherently simple bikes - especially the 250 2t, as it was a Non Powervalve 2 stroke engine - to make. Here in OZ, they, for what they were, were far to expensive, considering the general downgrade in Suspension, Brakes ( dreadful , near MTB level Formulas) and many other aspects of them from EXCs etc. But - they were pretty neat things to ride, especially in tight stuff, and when approached differently to...

That they used to be sponsored by “Suzuki” back when reedy was riding them, and that he had an “8” stroke. When I asked him what an 8 stroke was he said it was a bigger bike with much larger tires like you would find on a lifted truck.

I had a coworker that just bought his first bike, so I tried to help him out. Gave him some advice on what gear and maintenance he should checkout and he responded with " helmets are for pussies" He proceeded to crash just a couple weeks later and scraped up his arm a little. Dude sold the bike immediately and confessed that the bike scares the shit out of him.

Was at the gas station today with bike in the back, going to ride. Very small town. My wife says hi to a couple she knows that's older. Farming family down the street. Small talk happens, the guy asks me if I'm going to an obstacle course. I say yes, just don't want to get into a conversation about what motocross is. The guy then goes to his wife, hey hun... you had a cousin that raced dirt bikes... didn't you? He was a world champion wasn't he? I snickered a little to myself... wasn't even going to ask this...

Knobhead. "Motocross? I knew a guy who raced motocross, was British champion" Me "Aw yeah, what was his name?" Knobhead "Graham Higginbottom" Me "Mmnn never heard of him." Change the names and the title they allegedly won and I've heard this said loads of times.

Considering he's over 200 points out of the championship we can dream right? By the way, does Herlings Ironman performance look even more impressive now in retrospect with how hard its been for Prado to adjust?

I think we can all agree KTM's financial situation was a huge factor in Chase's decision. Had to be. That being said factory Kawasaki's race team in this country is in disarray. Chase had to leave KTM, no question, they are broke with an Indian influence now in charge. But Kawasaki, while flush with cash, couldn't win monopoly with spare fake dollars. Kawasaki's USA race team is in shambles.

Especially if his paycheck is up to the courts.

I think this is getting silly. he has had between top 5-10 starts every moto so the bike isn't slow. Kawi's handle well and have good suspension and he is on a factory team. Starting to sound like Sexton always blaming the bike. Fast guys figure it out but excuses never figure anything out

I used to like Chase. Sure, he had the personality of a saltine cracker, but man, the guy could ride. Lately, though? He’s been fumbling the PR side of things like it’s part of his training program. His response to Lewis’s tweet? About the worst possible thing he could have said. It wasn’t just tone-deaf — he outright contradicted his team manager and managed to sound both defensive and dismissive. Impressive, in the worst way. Let’s not pretend the KTM is the villain here. Chase isn’t losing titles because of orange plastic — it’s what’s going on between the handlebars...

Chase just ride the damn bike. At this point you know you can’t win the championship, you have a beautiful factory KTM waiting for you and an able body. Get tf out there dude!!!

Agree, it is on him. As far as AP, let's be honest, he'd probably seem enthusiastic if he found a corn dog on the ground. One of the reasons everybody loves that guy unconditionally.

But didn't he say the day before in a weege interview I think it was when talking about the bike, he said the engine is good was just doing suspension testing after first round. But now its slow?
