I'm with ya. I think RC is a buffoon in the booth. But I like the TV package mostly. Of they'd just call te damn race and not let screech be rambling on some dumb story while passes and crashes are happening.

The motivation to start this thread is pathetic. Comes from negativity and arm chair quaterback syndrom.

I have to say the broadcast has been improved a little this year but last night was a step back to their old dumb ways. Cutting away from battles to watch a rider by themselves. Split screen to show someone talking in an interview. The fish pictures.. it was like they predetermined that if Volhand gets near the front that THEY WILL talk about the hand brake regardless of the battles going on and they did.

It is bad, but unprofessional is probably not the most fitting word. The problem is they have midweek production meetings where they decide on talking points and what to put in the broadcast, including side stories to show during the racing. Facepalm. So whoever is making these decisions, and they’ve been following the same bad format for years, is directing whoever’s in the booth to talk about these things. Diffey and RC are being professional by following that direction, but the direction sux!

There used to be quite a few sand pit style practice tracks all ovet Connecticut. Meriden, Cromwell, Plainville, Granby, Colchester, Waterford, Milford, North Haven and a whole ton more. It was never legal to ride at these places, the DEP would write a few tickets in the spring and then pretty much leave it alone after that. But in the last 20 yrs. the places have been off limits and development has taken over. CT is not at all friendly to off road vehicle use. The only legal places left are Milford Riders M/C and Central Cycle Club which is...

I also like Jett saying one of the traits that makes Davies so good is how reactive he is to the motorcycle, and RC agreeing with him saying how proactive he is. Like dude if you don't know what the words mean, just say "yeah, you're right" Except in RC's head he'd definitely say "your rite"

Most underappreciated all time great ever. You’d go out there and win 4 races in a row and only gain 12 points on him. Then one bad race and he gains 10 on you to essentially negate it all. I think he’s remembered a lot differently if his chain doesn’t derail in 2011 SX and he doesn’t run out of gas with two laps left in 2011 MX.

Every time it gets mentioned, I always say if Dungey rode his whole career as aggressively as he did in moto 2 at Southwick 2011, RV probably wouldn't have quite so many titles.
