If you're using proper technique and gripping the bike with your legs the brake lever should always be an ankle pivot away from touching.

sir stevesxm, i still stand by my original post. make a gearing change and see how that works. A heavier flywheel weight would also be a good recomendation as someone else pointed out as it will slow down the engine RPM and make it more manegable.

+2 on the PC silencer. They seemed to say the factory pipe is really good, but the silencer was pretty restrictive. you might have good results by using a PC R304 silencer. Replace the pipe later if you still need more.
