mxtech1 Added a reply to Did Ping say Suzuki was bringing the 2 stroke back to the US?
9/8/2011 1:22pm Why are you guys all trying to be economists?? Suzuki probably employs hundreds of people that sit and analyze data trends, inflation, market values, and economic conditions so they know how to price vehicles.
It's not complicated. The price of the bikes will be similiar to KTM and Yamaha. Even if they only update cosmetically the price is still going...

9/8/2011 7:31am If you are unhappy with their service you need to go talk to the service manager. Go in with an open mind and try not to be an a-hole. Give them an oppurtunity to explain their delays. Then explain what you are unhappy with. Go over the hours they billed you for and what changes could have been made to...
mxtech1 Added a reply to Enclosed trailor radio
9/8/2011 6:40am Yes you still need to do a fuse because if you have a short you don't want to kill your radio. Most modern cd players have overload portection/fuses, but they aren't 100% fail-safe.
Like mototyme mentioned, you would also be smart to put in a master switch so you can turn the power off and on without unhooking your wires...

9/8/2011 6:02am Yes i'm in Galesburg. I ride at Galesburg MC alot and I also have my own track near Knoxville. Where do you ride? Does Aledo still have that track and trail place? I remember going there like 10 years ago when I was younger.

9/7/2011 10:53am When I was a young kid (about 3 years old) I saw Bob Hannah at a national and approached him for his autograph. I got up to him and said "can i have your autograph Ricky J? Obviously I was confused who he was. Hannah told me he was going to punch me in the mouth for calling him Ricky...
mxtech1 Added a reply to Enclosed trailor radio
9/7/2011 9:05am You can run it off your truck battery, but i wouldn't do it. You're only going to have about 1 hour of play time at a moderate sound level if youve got a good battery before you will draw to much charge out of the battery to start. You're best bet is to just buy a good Optima deep cycle...
mxtech1 Added a reply to PRO CIRCUIT RACE IGNITION??
9/7/2011 6:53am They make a big difference. I have never heard of any negative complaints against them or vortex ignitions. They are a little bit pricey but are one of the best mods to do on a 250f.

9/6/2011 7:54am How about 3 straight face wall jumps in a row, the third dropping off into a gravity hole with the other side a launcher take-off with a set of stadium whoops that break into moguls. Run the moguls through the following corner.

9/1/2011 5:42am I have a a pair of Gaerne SG10s size 10 for sale. They are very lightly used, i'm guessing about 20 hours or less. They are the white 2010 models. A friend gave these to me because he was getting out of MX but I don't wear them because I have some custom ankle braces fitted to my Astars. Let...
mxtech1 Added a reply to Local A/Pro classes...
8/31/2011 1:29pm I think the less talked about, but biggest contributing factor to poor local district racing problems is there is hardly any spectators at races anymore. The spectators are the money makers for the promoters. I can remember when we loaded up a car full of friends (or 2 or 3) and went to the races where we payed our gate...
mxtech1 Added a reply to 09' KX250f - low compression
8/31/2011 11:44am True, but even with the auto decompression 50 psi is too low. a normal reading would be no less than 100 psi.
The only true way to do it is with a leak down tester at TDC

8/31/2011 5:52am need to cut new valve seats and replace the valves. That's the only way he's going to ever get a good seal again between the valve and seat. You should probably do all 4 valve at the same time if he can afford it. if not, at least the 2 exhaust. Always replace together, or at least in like pairs...

8/29/2011 7:20am i've always used wiseco and had good results. Their kits are usually cheaper then piecing together an oem kit.

8/27/2011 5:33am Hondas only have one cam, less length of timing chain, smaller cylinder head, 32 spoke rims, the lightest hubs, nice bolts throughout with dished out heads, and the frame is several pounds lighter then the other. Honda doesn a great job with fit and finish of their products so it should be no surprise they are the lightest.

8/27/2011 5:27am Yes you got it right, good job!
