A smile on my son's face.

Let me splain.....

We were at Gravity Games in 1999 when my son was 4.
Standing behind the fence where the freestyle course had the ex-ups for the riders and every once in a while they would come over and sign autographs.
My son was a HUGE Pastrana fan at the time, I think it was his last name more than anything else at first.....lol.

Of course when Travis came over it got crowded quick and I had put my son up on my shoulders to keep him from getting stepped on and so he could maybe get an autograph.
Standing right next to the fence my son takes off his hat and is holding it out for Travis to sign which he does and goes to hand it back to my son....at which point some teenage/early 20's asshole grabs it right out of his hands and books off through the crowd.

Travis looks at my kid and says "Don't worry little guy"...takes off his own Suzuki hat, signs it and hands it over to my son and says "OK hold on tight", which he did......death grip style.

My sons smile for the rest of that day.......Priceless
Gotta hand it to Travis. He's one of the nicest guys to his fans.

At my first supercross in Atlanta Tim Ferry was just coming into the pits as we were comign by his rig for the industry meal thing and he handed me his bike and had me hold it for him while he walked over to take off his helmet ect. when he came back he gave me his goggles as a thanks. Years later stolen and worn and lost by my little brother. Shame, but still awesome.

Not really something I have gotten, but a few years back at Red Bud I was standing by the JGR rig talking to Jeremy Albrect and they had a problem with one of there bikes while the mechanic was working on it. I got to go in and hold the bike, then sit on it while the mechanic tinkered with the suspension. It last all of a minute but it was pretty cool. Jeremy to me to come by the rig later, but I didn't get a chance when the pits closed Dry

Ricky Johnson gave me his 1986 Daytona goggles and signed them while in the Honda box van for me.
RC invited my wife and i to walk Daytona with him, it was just the three of us and even though I grew up with him at the track every week he is RC. RC gave us one of those giant whipped kawi posters that is in real photo paper. Coolest poster ever.
Dv signed his 934 jersey for me and it is still covered in blood from battle.

When I was a young kid (about 3 years old) I saw Bob Hannah at a national and approached him for his autograph. I got up to him and said "can i have your autograph Ricky J? Obviously I was confused who he was. Hannah told me he was going to punch me in the mouth for calling him Ricky J. He signed a suzuki poster for me that I still have 22 years later.

Bike setup advice from Doug Chandler. He was watching me go around a corner and the bike wasn't holding the line quite right. He came to my pit, told me to add a turn of preload and the times dropped over a half a second from that one corner exit alone. Quality guy.

I got a pair of Mark "The Bomber" Barnett's Fox riding paints he threw out the back of his box van after the second moto of the 1981 Hangtown classic. Which he won both motos by over a minute.

But my most treasured items are my autographed pictures of my three heros (Bad Brad Lackey, Roger DeCoster and Joel Roberts).

$50 dollars? No way Stanford. I look at those everytime I go in my garrage. How can you put a price on those. Can't be replaced.

At the end of 2005 I knew I was going to get a new 85, but at the season finale at Glen Helen I went over to the Yamaha Of Troy rig and there was a brand new 2006 YZ85 sitting under the tent and my dad told me to go grab it because it was mine. Dave Osterman set the entire thing up, I know he isn't considered a pro rider by it was pretty sweet!

Travis Pastrana once picked me up and threw me into the foam pit at the red bull compound hahaha, Jeff Gibson gave me his jersey after the 05 A3 main event, the next weekend he broke his neck.. I've ridden with a few pros, so I guess I can say "irreplaceable memories". Lame I know
