I went to a Gary Bailey MX school at Kahoka in 2005. Bailey said it was one of the best tracks he'd ever ridden. Glad to see Mike reopening, at least for selected events.

Also back for 2026 is Kahoka, Missouri, another great track from the past.

I have a little info on this. Ross / Enzo has supported the team since the early day. At first this was with testing, service, and components (they bought some stuff, as every factory level team dos). Eventually the team brought on an in-house tech as it grew. Drew Hopkins was the first I believe…maybe around 2013? Soemthing like that. Ross still helped with setting and component advice, helped source stuff from KYB, occasionally assisted in testing when requested. The team has continued to grow and has since added more techs. I think the 250 team has two right now...

Could be a possibility. I know their suspension tech Jake Price owns his own suspension service company on the side. So maybe he is taking over full time for the team

One reason they ripped up that contract was because Tony wanted a package deal for both kids, Honda only wanted Mike. Tony made a lot of mistakes, but the biggest imho, is not letting Mike go to Honda by himself while Tony spent his time with Jeff, I’ve even told him that. Mike and jeff both could’ve been great under the right directions. Mike and Tony both are good dudes.

Something to note, The Alessis had nothing to do with the believe the hype T-shirts. That was Vurb Moto and they gave them to the Alessis to wear.

I got to meet Mike briefly when he stayed at ClubMX in 2016. Like most people, I had a negative perception of him and his family before he got there, all of which changed when I got to talk to him. He was extremely down to earth and very friendly to chat with. He could've been like most high profile pros and hid in his own private garage away from everyone, but he would take time out of his routine or between motos to cheer random guys on track during training sessions.
