Life works in interesting ways. He was riding the best this year he has been in some years, then has to step away. I pray for him and his family they can get whatever issues are going on resolved. Glad he is stepping away to focus on that and I also hope he can come back some time.

Reading the article on the lawsuit to be honest was a bit maddening to me. While having a 16 year old son, I can’t imagine the loss and pain of losing him while doing something we love. That being said three things from the article get me pretty irritated. 1- Most, if not all racetracks generally don’t station flaggers in turns. We know this isn’t common and we know why. 2- A hairpin turn between jumps caused an unsafe track condition? Uh ok, first time, first lap there Dad? You or your party didn’t walk the track and recognize this...
