Pipes Motorsports Group respects Jason and his family’s privacy and fully supports his decision. No further statements will be made at this time.”

Agreed. I hope he gets his personal affairs in order and comes back to race with a renewed competitive spirit. If not, I at least hope he gets his family situation squared away for the sake of his wife and child.
I hope Jason and his family are able to heal whatever is ailing them. There's a baby involved. We should all be rooting for them.

My understanding, charges (against Jason) were dropped? And assuming one side is more truthful than the other is dangerous.
The whole: "innocent till proven guilty" seems to have been lost on society...especially on social media.
So much we read and hear, just isn't true...all hearsay.

Innocent until proven guilty doesn't mean shit outside of the courtroom. Guilty people get acquitted all the time.
Just because charges were dropped doesn't mean he didn't punch and choke his wife. The neighbors felt strongly enough that Jason was being violent that they called the cops on the millionaire next door. Most people wouldn't do that on a whim.
This guy probably thinks “knowing” Jason Anderson is watching him ride a dirt bike on TV once a week.
Not good news, and we don't know the real story, nothing more to be discussed.

Just because charges were filed doesn't mean anything either. People file bogus charges all the time....all the time.
I don't think anyone here is condoning what Jason is accused of.
But, we weren't there. Unless there's video, or multiple witnesses with the same story, we won't ever know what happened, including whether his wife's side of the story is true, false, minimized or exaggerated, and that happens too often.
Whether he ever races again is secondary.
