mx400bee Added a reply to Got to do something cool for my dad today.
11/26/2010 6:31pm Thats awesome Racerx930. I had one of those little jewels back in the day. First brand new MX bike I owned. I`m sure when your dad finds out it will make his recovery a little easier to handle. You`re a good son. Good luck to your dad with his operation.

11/24/2010 7:25pm Thats perfect. I would have to use that as the centerpiece on my dining room table, if I were capable enough to do that.

11/24/2010 6:57pm Why use a handicapped child in a thread to try and be cute. Your shits not funny if you intended it to be. According to some of your comments I`ve read you seem to be more like Cheney than anyone.

11/16/2010 11:16am 1963 Sky Blue Schwinn Stingray (1st year made). First jump attempt resulted in 12 stitches in the chin, bent forks and wheel, along with a flat tire. Boy was my Dad pissed. I had to get a paper route to pay him back before he would let me ride it again. I never was much of a jumper after that...

11/11/2010 6:40pm Thanks Newmann, I bought one years ago for my DT2 not knowing who made it. It`s identical to the pics but with a full length gusset on top of the tubes and a half length gusset next to it with three mounting holes for changing the bottom shock location.
mx400bee Added a reply to 75` Yamaha MX400B value?
9/28/2010 5:36pm newmann, I had the shock built. It has triple rate springs and is valved for 200- 235 lbs. The PVL cost $400 shipped. I found a number off a EBAY listing by Cycles R Us and called them direct. The ignition came from Penton Racing Products but I had to buy it through Cycles R Us but they gave me...

9/22/2010 9:17am I`d make sure the sag on the rear spring is correct first before adjusting the front. On my 06 I had that flat front feel and set the sag at 95mm with with me sitting on the bike. Big difference in stability along with turning quicker. I ride mostly in sand and use S12`s front and rear and that helped...

mx400bee Added a reply to When did you see your first factory bike?
9/6/2010 5:03pm Yea, that`s it. Awesome picture. Mr. Johnnson saw my bike ( 72 Yamaha Enduro with Koni`s, a Bassani pipe and, 21" front wheel) in the back of my truck and started the conversation. Hell of a nice guy.
mx400bee Added a reply to How fast was your High School?
9/6/2010 4:52pm oldschoolmxr, did a fellow named Franky Johnson come from that area. I know he raced for Barney`s in the early 70`s and flat hauled ass. He was so short you couldn`t tell when he was standing but usually won whenever I saw him race.

9/6/2010 4:26pm I was just checking. After getting our asses handed to us last year I thought a little chalk board material might help us out next month. I hear the new track is like a longer, wider, and improved version of the Huddle House track. Should be fun. I had a blast last year and look forward to seeing the SEVMX...
mx400bee Added a reply to When did you see your first factory bike?
9/6/2010 3:11pm I believe it was in 72` at a Krispy Kremes in Orlando, FL. around 6:00 am. Ake Johnnson buying coffee with his factory Maico in his rental Ford Econoline on the way to the Orlando Sports Stadium for the Trans AMA. Yea, he won.
mx400bee Added a reply to Economy LOST 283,000 jobs during 'Recovery Summer'
9/3/2010 8:07am Thats a fact Nacho but it appears the Democrats are trying to show the World how to finish the job. Hopefully, with November coming soon some sort of action towards fixing the economy will become more important than the lip service America has been hearing from DC.
