6/4/2014 4:06pm RM250racer, I put a Pvl on a 75` MX400 Yamaha (same engine as YZ400). Newmann`s prices are best by far and the Pvl is the best mod that bike ever had. And no more headaches looking for replacement parts.

5/10/2014 4:20am Thanks for all the support and well wishes everybody. I`m not going anywhere anytime soon and fully plan on riding again in the near future. I have a good bunch of Dr.`s and my attitude is positive. I was just looking for a idea of what my 06` would be worth just in case.

Bike is all stock with extra SDG tall seat, FMF spark arrestor, and Black plastic so the Yellow has never been used. Still has original 756 rear with 60-70% tread and new S-12 Michelin on front. 2/14/2014 11:38pm Anyone ever swap the 8 petal reed valves from the 77-79 Enduros for the 6 petal reeds in the 77-78 YZ400. I was told the factory bikes went this route when needing more tractable bottom end and quicker throttle response.

5/6/2013 6:34pm Thanks guys for all the tips, photo`s, and parts info on Hodaka`s. My buddy told me the tank and fenders were in great shape, has a new seat and even the decal on the filter cover looks nice. I`ll find out shortly and will post the "before" pics when I get it laid out in my garage.

5/4/2013 4:59pm Thanks, I`ll remember that Dave. Supposedly, the trans/engine worked like a champ but, it sounds like a manual is a must if that`s not the case. From what I`ve been told the bike`s very low hour and still looked new before being taken apart to be shipped.
