Here's the practical rundown. The stock KTM nipples are junk, as you've discovered. No, they are not compatible with other nipples (no aftermarket option that threads on the stock spokes). Yes, you can replace the stock spokes and nipples with a good set like Bulldog. But if you're that far in, it's not really logical to reuse a 107 hr rim when rebuilding. It's amazing that he attempted to shift up and manipulate the bike from not endoing. When something like that happens to me, I panic rev and basically freeze. And to be honest, I don't think my panic rev is a conscious effort to get more wheel spin. It just kind of happens lol

I’m seeing +10 & +20 Hammerhead shifters???? (we run the ‘23 R/RX shifters) Also, do the Hammerhead shifter tips fit the Rocky Mt shifters…?

I think the overall complaint is that it is not roomy ergonomically, obviously "accident waiting to happen" is personal and situational.

And Sexton and Webb arent teammates. There was also almost 3/4 of the 250 main left for Deegz to get by Max and no need for that move right then. Way more of a sense of urgency from Chase. That said, Max didn't complain so I'm not. At least Max hopefully knows how to play it the rest of the season and will adjust accordingly.

Am I crazy to think 21 points back after just 2 rounds is actually kind of a lot? He was only 4 points out of it after round 2 last year and only 10 points out after round 3 last year. To me, it is concerning when his main competition seems to be clearing him each week.

These tracks are too fast for him imo, he doesn’t have that Eli/Chase/Kenny pure speed. You see this out of him with these hauling ass tracks, he’ll be better once they’re on the east coast/rutty/tighter tracks. But damn he’s gotta stop the bleeding quick.

Absolutely insane take to say the field is slower. The top guys find a way to stay at the top — plus with better information on how to maintain one’s body/athleticism at a high level, you get the increased longevity we’ve been seeing. Even Dungey said the pace is way faster after only being retired for what, like two or three years? I agree we’ve hit plateau in equipment, but these guys are flying compared to ten years ago

Eli fanboy here… it’s not on lock IMO. He looks good but it’s just a matter of time before chase figures it out and starts cranking off wins. Then you got hunter, Webb, and Kenny looking really well also. I said it in another thread but I can’t believe it’s 2026 and these guys are still competitive. Praying for a healthy season for these guys and loving it two rounds in so far
