In my experience KTM both wins and loses in fit and finish. Some parts like the billet suspension pieces of clamps are much nicer than the standard cast parts you get out of japan but their galvanized hardware also mostly sucks and I’ve had the weirdest shit break on my KTM’s that I’ve never had break even on my 40 year old vintage bikes such as exhaust flanges and motor mount screws when torqued to spec. Good choice, he's going to race for one of the most succesful AMA Teams, with a good salary and a lengthy contract, plus his ability to have his own gear deals and be one of Monster Energy most important riders, and it seems the aluminum frame works better in SX than KTM Steel frame, Kawasaki has probably offered more freedom than KTM (California, chose his own gear deals, trainer...) Although Kawasaki doesn't support MXdN, maybe they make an excepcion for him? Prado seems to be very patriotic so racing MXdN is important for him...

Prado was top 10th in points and won a heat race in the most stacked field after just a couple weeks of riding SX for the first time in like 9 years. Dude will be fine lol.

I for one thought it went great. I was expecting much less! Pits track and hotels are so close together it’s great for the industry folks. Fan fest was nice indoors. Waited a hour to eat dinner at one of the restaurants before the race not bad imo considering the event. And at the track my wife made All the food runs and mid race got the event shirts and was never gone more than 20-30min…

Don't know if he finished..... The bigger picture: This is one more reason why our sport will always be a joke to the rest of the world. Fans running across an open/live track = Wheelie boys f**king up traffic on city streets.

Will always be Scott Plessinger for me. In the late 80's into the 90's, he was one of the few riders who kept Scott Summers honest. I believe he won two GNCC titles and two National Hare Scramble titles back then on KTM. We had a small KTM dealership in my town in the late 80's and 90's where I spent a lot of time as a kid. My dad bought my first bike there, a 1991 KTM 80. Been hooked ever since!
