You’ve obviously never attended a race at the LA Memorial Colesium.

A cold front moved in last night and low 50's to mid-40's is cold for the locals and could have played a part in the turnout.

People in that area pack stadiums to watch football in cooler conditions.

I didn’t like the venue verses Atlanta, but I thought at least the monster truck/tractor pull crowd would fill the stadium.

But in the south college football is a religious event 🙂

Of course the food lines were long ,the south puts a new meaning to the phrase slow and steady.

Two gears... Slow and slower. But, very cordial 🙂

The venue was great. Everything was very convenient, especially parking. Don’t let the complainers discourage anyone from attending next year if it comes back.

I think one issue is they understaff the events & underestimate how much SX fans eat and drink. There were at least 5 food stands closed for every one they had open in the stadium. Open a couple more of those and the lines aren't bad.

Then they bottleneck everyone having one entrance in and out of the fan fest. Wasn't as bad as the year the Atlanta speedway tried to funnel everyone under the turn 4 tunnel but still not great with so many entry points blocked off.

Indoor pits were cool but they had the privateers basically in a broom closet while the factory trailers had 2 floors of the civic center. Guess that's the norm though.

Seemed like a decent turnout just from looking around in our seats. The only real letdown was when Jett came around first in the main you could feel the energy leave the stadium.

Half the fans never made it to the race and are still waiting for their order somewhere

Other than the sketchy surrounding area which is 1000X worse now than the 80's....I always loved the Coliseum.

No other place like it to watch a race IMO.
