This "straight up" concept, and especially between Chad and James, has always cracked me up. Everyone here who has raced much knows a guy who is marginally faster, and has consistently kicked your butt over the years (like James has done to Chad). Yeah, I'd never say Ryan's the next Ricky or James, but he's accomplished a lot in a little time. He seemed inconsistent his first year, but rode smart all this year, and fast enough. He just seems like a good kid.

Well, that's easy. You unbolt it, stand on a ladder and drop it from exactly 10 feet(cushiony side down, of course), and measure how far it bounces. As a side note, I only use 'em if they bounce 3 inches or more. Any less, I'm sure to get severe monkey-butt. Ugly.
