Pump tracks are all well and good - being Pump tracks. But, with my local BMX track - and so many others - becoming, basically, Wide Pump tracks, it really, Really Sucks!

I just hope this guy can live a normal life after racing. He has taken some massive hits over the years.

...why is everyone tripping out over pet insurance and equating it to some "woke" thing? I live in the Midwest and my wife's Wyoming based company offers it. It's not some new foreign concept, pets can get expensive.

I fail to see any comedy in it, for either Sexton, Kawi, team members, competitors, or any genuine fan of the sport. In fact I think you’d have to be a sad individual to delight in whatever is going down over there.

It's not a 2T thing, it's due to the imbalance that's inherent in a single-cylinder engine. They've just become more common in recent years in 2Ts. I know I'd have welcomed one on a YZ490! 😃

I've said it before and I still believe Loretta's has ruined local racing. No one cares about the local series and racing anymore because they are all chasing the Loretta's dream. They don't race, they practice and go to camps and only ride the qualifiers. Winning a local AMA or even an outlaw series used to mean something, but no longer. I have 10 bibs from Loretta's and only because I live 45 miles away did I want to qualify and go. The track itself is not very fun with it being in a flat field. It used to be...

I own a utility construction company and have done many projects in and around East STL. It's one of the most dangerous areas I've ever worked in and we have completed projects in the worst areas of Miami, Southside Chicago, Oakland, Houston, Newark, etc. The police recommended that we limit our hours on site from 7-2, because after that things would began to heat up and they would have limited response to calls for assistance.

It's not nearly as bad as it used to be.... and quite frankly, I'm a huge fan of the easy access to the plethora of strip joints within minutes of archview... some of which are quite adventurous... But seriously.... just not much room at archview for really big events... and yes, you can make one wrong turn and be treated to some of the worst the stl has to offer....

As long as idiots keep going, the costs will continue to rise and the experience provided will continue to degrade.
