In chronological order, Chase beat Jett at:

(2023) Charlotte, (2024) SF, A2, Seattle, STL, Foxborough, SLC*, Hangtown* (SLC and Hangtown are half points because Jett was in championship mode in SLC and crashed his brains out at Hangtown), Southwick moto 2, Fort Worth SMX moto 2, (2025) A1, Washougal, Ironman moto 1.

And were those races ‘straight up’ beatings?

Like, bar to bar battling where Chase came out on top?

I’ll make an effort to look up each of those races and re-watch, then we can discuss each race in detail. I look forward to this..

If you cross the finish line before the guy behind you, thats a pretty straight up beating in my book, but if you want to qualify shit, be my guest. Yes, they battled bar to bar in several of these races. You let me know which ones "don't count"

I completely agree. For some, the family aspect works as long as accountability is present. Chase seems to think he is not the issue. It's the bike, it's the team, it's this or that... I feel like Tomac, Deegan, and the rest of the family environment riders all accept the situation they are in and work around shortcomings to find a solution. They do not differentiate between their success and the teams success. Chase is being enabled to have a shitty outlook. It starts with his dad, which anybody that grew up around Chase knows, Keir thinks his shit doesn't stink...

Regardless of intention, this is a results-based business. Chase has all the potential in the world, but his support group is enabling this self-destructive behavior and 'woe is me' attitude. RJ nailed this on the head. Kawasaki is the best place for Chase because him moving to any other team where he won't be #1 will make it even worse once the first issue comes up. Just my two cents.

I dont think the general public see's Chase' dad or understands the situation behind the scenes. Most people just see Chase wadding his brains out, jumping from honda to KTM to kawasaki, and the up and down results. He is a 450 SXand MX champion on different bikes. He has beat Jett straight up before. He went from 40th to 1st at hangtown.

Chase is every bit of talented as Jett, or anyone. However his family dynamic is not like the Lawerence family. Its not like the Deegans.

Those two families understood the same thing. Once their boys got to the premier level it was time to take a big step back, and let the team and their son take it from there.

Yes the fathers spent countless hours, days, YEARS, and ungodly amounts of money to help get their son to the upper echelon of the sport and their guidance worked! Up until a point.

If you dad is constantly in your head giving you bad advice, blaming the team, blaming the bike, telling you they dont know what they're doing, how does that help build and instill confidence in the rider? We all know the top guys are basket cases mentally. Again, RJ is more right than most people probably realize.

lol, read what you wrote…Brian and Dazzy are more involved and more public with their involvement than what you hear about Chases dad, his practice bike mechanic. I’ve yet to see an interview with him but have heard plenty from Dazzy and Brian

If Chase were to go to Star, the idea of him, his dad and the Deegans under one tent would be an interesting dynamic.

when you battle, bar to bar, with someone the whole moto and beat them, then it counts. If the guy you are racing crashes out on the first lap, it doesn't mean anything. I get what he was saying.

Similar heights according to racerx but about 20lbs lighter. But thats probably inaccurate. So I could be wrong. But I digress. Different riding styles... people talk about Garrett being the "bulldog" riding style, the way Nicoletti puts it is Garrett rides like Tomac, wide open, slamming into bumps, pushing through everything. Chase was the epitome of smooth riding style, the Roczen method, before Jett moved up and put everyone else to shame. I can't believe it's a crazy theory to say that a bike that works for one guy won't work for another.

I don’t disagree with the differing riding styles, I  was simply pointing out they are probably closer in size than a lot of other guys on the gate. Between Chase and factory kawi they should be able to make the bike do what Chase wants…. And if not then there is some serious issues on one or both sides. I imagine Chase is out after this year so let’s see what he can do on the yami. But can he handle deegs and all the mental games that will come with being under the same tent???

And just to think he had the audacity to call a Jett fan a “ball gargler” !

I will make a point of re-watching and analysing the races he mentioned. It won’t take me long..🤣

Truth…it’s Comedy & Tragedy

I fail to see any comedy in it, for either Sexton, Kawi, team members, competitors, or any genuine fan of the sport. In fact I think you’d have to be a sad individual to delight in whatever is going down over there.

If Star want to go after the Lawrence’s, Deegan, Sexton and Justin Cooper is about as good as you can get for guys that can get up there in pace. They will push each other, no bike excuses etc.

Chase's break up with Kawi is all but confirmed - there will be a 3rd Lewis-interviewing-a-rider-who-left-his-contract Pod up before SMX starts where he chats to Chase about the situation like he did with Seewer and Anstie. You can read between the lines in his latest one with Anstie where he notes "these things happen in 3's" when referring to that type of interview and he's only had 2 so far...

RJ is also kind of a attention whore, just look at when Hannah was taking his victory lap at Unadilla, RJ had to go run back and jump on his own bike to ride around with Hannah. But legend says RJ was also punched in the face by a fan while doing it. Some swear it happened other say it didn't. desperate-need-for-attention-illness-with-no-cure

I was there for this….and I didn’t like RJ riding around with Hannah ….agree 100%…

Everything happens in 3’s, if you start every new count after 3.

You can beat Jett straight up??? Delusional.....

Sexton does have the ability to beat Jett straight up on any given day , so does Hunter , Danger Boy, and Tomac. Week in and week out…. No.

"a Jett fan" - look man, the guy's name is "Jettsonator", his profile picture is Jett, and all he does on this board is go thread to thread glazing and defending Jett. If thats not ball gargling it's atleast nut hugging. 😂

I'll be the first one to tell you #18 has had Sexton's number most of the times they've raced. But to say Sexton NEVER has beaten Jett or doesn't even have the ability to beat him straight up is just ignoring the past. I look forward to your analysis. I've got no problem with disagreeing, I just hope we can do so rationally.

I disagree. Danger Boy is out of the discussion for starters. On to the others. 'On any given day' means there is no requirement for any special circumstances. I would argue with all the riders you've mentioned they can't beat Jett except when there are particuraly favourable circumstances for them, for instance: Jett with early season bike set up problems (when Tomac beat him in SX), bad track for Jett (Sexton at Washougal,). Only Hunter is close and even then Jett's injury cannot be discounted (despite Donger's infantile chirping). I expect Jett to go 1-1 at Redbud.

Haha yeah, the Hurricane doesn't hold back.  Who's the unlucky person who gets to call Hannah?  I can hear it now.  Ring ring ...

"What the !@%#$!! do you want?"

"Uhh, Sexton needs some racing advice."

"Give me that squid's number !!!"

Listen up, kid.You got talent, but talent don’t mean %^$$# if you ain’t got the heart to back it.  I watched you win default titles and I watched you throw it away with mistakes you shouldn’t be making.  Stop riding like a moron and start riding like the only acceptable result is first place—every single moto!!!  Second place is the first loser!!  Podium?
That’s just a fancy way of saying you got your butt beat.  Who cares about your stupid Instagram posts and your “good days”? Nobody remembers the guy who almost won!!"

You want to be great and beat them Aussies? Train like you hate losing more than you love breathing!  Get your a$$ out there when it’s 100 degrees, when it’s pouring rain, when your body’s beat to crap.  I didn’t win because I was the most gifted—I won because I was willing to suffer more than the other guys and I refused to make excuses !!!

No more soft &!$#&#!!.  No more overthinking the track or worrying about what the haters say, kid.  Put blinders on, block the noise, and go to war. Yeah, your body’s gonna hurt. That’s motocross. Suck it up !!

Get stronger, get fitter, and stop letting little things knock you off your game.  Ride that bike like it owes you money.  Feet off the pegs, elbows up, pin it till something breaks—preferably the other guy’s will.  You can beat those Lawrences if you want.  I WOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY !!!

Listen kid, this sport don’t owe you anything. You want to be remembered as one of the greats? Then quit riding like a guy who’s happy to be there and start riding like the I used to—mean, hungry, and unstoppable. Now quit reading this and get your candy ass out there and ride. Time’s wasting!!"
Slams phone down !!!!

Bob's whole persona was no-BS, fiery, and zero filter.

Sexton needs someone that he respects to tell him to just race the bike as it is until he gets used to it. He keeps changing things so he never gets to learn how the bike works

set it up neutral and start over.....he ought to have a base setup to go back to when things go awry

new 2027 bike will be a new starting point for him. Beyond personal preference items like bars, grips, pegs, seat height I would hope he would put some time on it before chasing suspension & geometry stuff all over again.
