Leave it stock and it will still smoke a built 150 and cost you one helluva lot less to rebuild when the time comes. Plenty rideable in stock form, too. Sounds like you’ve got deep pockets and have your mind made up, though, so good luck in 2024.

6/18/2024 7:01am Great for riding, no good for racing. The Japanese and Austrians will mop that bike up at all times even if you spend 4 grand on the engine. It's why nobody ever bought them and they haven't been changed since the inception . Great bike for Girls

Chase is probably the rider I've rooted for the most over the past few years, but the simply truth is that he has a slightly lower natural "ceiling" than Jett does. I don't think it's how hard he works, his character, the bike, or anything else. I just think that Jett (and Jett's the only one, at least in the AMA series) has a tiny increment more natural talent that allows him to beat Chase without having to ride over his head generally. If it wasn't for Jett, Chase would be the guy.

6/17/2024 7:18am Everybody cant be number 1, Chase is fast enough. Enough with the comfort thing we keep hearing about with everybody, Dungey did it. Chase can do it, i'ts in his head, Hangtown proved that.

It's a matter of how hard you are running the bike and how much you want to run the risk of running an old piston when it comes to compression. If you're running a piston until the compression is so bad the bike isn't starting and running well, then you're way over the hours of the piston life. People seem to forget motocross engines are highly tuned and lightweight. So they have hours on certain parts. Drag car engines do one run with probably a minute run time and then they are rebuilt. With my 150SX single ring piston starts to get severe blow by after 20 hours of riding time. With double ring piston I can ride double amount of hours before blow by starts to happen. I haven't really noticed that single ring piston would have significantly better throttle response so I would choose the double ring piston

I totally agree with you, it is a niche sport but we can make it as big as it can be. NBC didn't spend millions to highlight guys pitting out of a Sprinter van. Most won't understand it and think I'm ripping on those guys but I have huge respect for anyone who can make a night show. Hell, I have huge respect for the dudes in C practice that don't make the night show. They come to the local track and yard everyone. They just need to be showcased in a different environment. Why not have a minor league...
