I have to agree, you can only make it safe to a degree. After that, it will still be dangerous much like football. Safety gear has greatly evolved over the past decade but both sports still run the risk of concussions, strains, sprains, tears, broken bones and paralysis. In the end, each of us, or our parents if minors, must weigh the risk versus reward and understand it’s a matter of when, not if we get injured. In my nearly 5 decades of riding / racing, I’ve had a couple bad concussions, broken scapula, broken ribs, broken arm, broken fingers...

lol tough guy? Not trying to be a tough guy. Just don’t understand all these posts about safety with one of the most dangerous sports you can do. If it’s too dangerous go do something more safe is all I’m saying.

Go open a track and run it your way let us know how much money you are making to keep the gates open. It's not going to be long. It's not easy to do. If you want a place to ride sometimes they have to fight and scratch just to get by.

The sport is dying and its pains me to say it but I dont think theres any saving it. When I was young, our local pit was the place to be on the weekends. Fast forward 25 years, the only people in that pit on the weekends are my kids and I. Its been a slow decline but the train is rolling....

Can she come back to mx and replace RC??
