OP....yes they did. Along with all the other "skill" enhancers (start grates, start blocks, holeshot devices, telemetry, traction control/launch assist and "RPM" lights. Electric bikes will only further the decline. The sport is becoming a video game. The loss of riding skill with 450's having too much power that forgive any mistakes. Supercross has become a circus show of practiced to death aerial gymnastics. (with the exception of Atlanta and Daytona). The expense of the 4 strokes too, this has taken "affordability" out of the equation for the few people who want to get into the sport. I see this...

You can see it in straight rhythm where some do the best riders in the world mess up just a tiny bit and it ruins their whole rhythm, four strokes just have so much power, these guys clear everything with ease.. In a perfect world, 2 strokes, no computers telling guys how to ride, no dark fish to tell riders what lines to take, no holeshot devices, just rider VS rider

I get that as so many just want to argue, I've done a ton of testing on a Dyno and let's look at the yzf 450 ,it's claimed it has about 62hp? So it lost 9hp , so 67.9 add 9 is 76.5hp However what we really need to look at is area under the curve ,that's what you feel ,not peak hp at a certain. Rpm , the stark has imo almost twice the "real hp" than a yzf 450 ...which comes as no surprise when you see a Tesla plaid Vs a normal supercar

Right, lets look past Eli, Cooper, and Forkner...they were flukes. How many other riders got hurt? Gas gas team, husqvarna team, Ktm, all of PC, about half of Star. A lot of good dudes got hurt practicing or racing supercross. Not saying some of them wouldnt have gotten hurt racing mx but I think less would have gotten hurt racing mx.

Agree, and it's not just Feld. The rest of the sport needs to take notice also. We are blessed to have such advancements in orthopedics, etc but very few moms are going to love their little Johnny hitting a gigantic double at the rev limiter

I think Feld needs to figure out how to keep the rider’s healthy through the entire season. Whether that is with track redesign, limiting displacement/HP, something. You can’t sustain fan interest if all the stars are on the sidelines by the end of the season….. unless you are going for some “last man standing” kind of championship, which is where we are today. I just hate seeing this as a war of attrition.

This is nonsense. The outcome is no different than moving the piston pin down and shortening the rod. This adds mass and increases side loading, while adding unnecessary parts.

Being at the race, I think Webb would’ve been as fast as anyone if he could get through the whoops. Although, it didn’t look like anyone had those whoops dialed.

Hunter Lawrence: "I didn't want to hit him that haad". So there is no doubt it was intentional. That's racing boys and girls. I see no problem with it. Like to see Jo return the favor in the future.

Hopefully Jo learned a lesson. He played nice w Jett when he probably could've made a slightly aggressive pass stick and pull away in Moto 1. Instead, Jett kept racing him knowing the Jo wasn't going to give him contact. And all he got for being a nice guy was getting smacked by Hunter. Those guys can be your buddies but when it's race time, go do your job. Apparently the Lawrence boys aren't too worried about him, so hopefully now he knows.

Hunter completely used up Jo in that corner. Then Jo smoked the field in moto 2. Jo came out on top and learned what to expect from HL in the future.

young men racing in the big league. bothers me more that jett would let his brother get an undeserved win to help him beat their supposed friend.

Not a T bone but coming in from behind into the same line at the same time is aggressive at the least, reckless in my opinion. If Joe had used this tactic on Jett the internet would have broken.

dude it was spicy as shit and you can tell by huntahs body language he knows it was. All this “his hand came off” excuses are just that excuses. He ran down some one, that was a friend , that has raced him cleanly all season as he unraveled under the pressure from his little brother who admitted would let him “buy” to gain points on his friend “sushi”. Huntah acted like a child a few weeks ago and now they both do this… lost a ton of respect for him. I hope Sushi becomes a Ninja and remembers this...

Biggest question of all. Where is the power to charge all these vehicles going to come from??? There is “zero” infrastructure being built to accomodate. If they broke ground to build additional power plants TODAY it would be a year at minimum before it produced its first amp of electricity and more over the additional transmissions lines to deliver it are non existent. As we sit here today nothing is being done other than the “save the planet” words being spoken. Newsom is so disconnected from reality it’s frightening.
