US 250 class is especially toast

Americans are still fast as heck, it varies from year to year, and there'll always be some solid 250 guys always coming through. So I don't want to overdo it because honestly the top guys in either series are very close. But if you want to really get down to a factor that's hurting the America born racers (aside from SX focus) in regard to losing their edge slightly - it's the tracks. Every major moto series I can think of, anywhere in the world, has a junior/ amateur or development class that gets to race alongside the pros, except in the US. That has consequences imo.

Yeah man I mean of course he’s American. He isn’t American born. He didn’t get his base here riding in the US. He was already an mxgp champ before coming over. That’s the only point I’m making. Do you think chase and Tomac would have something for the Lawrence’s? I think the results would be similar. Maybe trading 3rd/4th with deegan with an occasional better result. They both also have not stayed off the ground for a season in how long. That’s an issue and these guys are having to ride over their limit to be competitive.

Three of our top four 450 guys are hurt right now, That’s a big skew in the stats.
