Correct. My question in the presser about the gap this weekend is physically where he is at on track in comparison to the Lawrences, and even being consistently ahead of Prado.

Also, to add, I personally felt the least amount of tension post-race between the two that I’ve felt almost all year. Haiden referenced the Lawrence’s each off the back of one of my questions, with no real reaction other than just talking about the race.

objectively speaking, like DC said post fight after Jon jones whooped him again in the rematch , it ain’t a rivalry if I lost to the guy twice , yes deegs is steadily improving & eventually will get there but until he starts beating Jett just as much as Jett beating him , it ain’t really a rivalry so yeaaa we can kill this 1 v 1 talk between them

Media makes money by clicks, deegans fan and haters click. Example i resoonded to your deegan post, lol!

There is constant conversation regarding Deegan narrowing the gap between him and Jett. The reality is Jett with one leg has deegan 53 points down and Southwick has only just ended. There is no debate. The gap is growing. When did deegan become the media darling?

the first is worse in Belgium and maybe even Australia , 2, there seems to be no problem with money in american amatuers, they cant even park all the rigs at the races sometimes, the last one is probably the main reason, to much practicing not enough racing,

Long time dominance built determination for riders in other countries. I was saying to my wife watching today, our mxon chances are slim.

Americans are still fast as heck, it varies from year to year, and there'll always be some solid 250 guys always coming through. So I don't want to overdo it because honestly the top guys in either series are very close. But if you want to really get down to a factor that's hurting the America born racers (aside from SX focus) in regard to losing their edge slightly - it's the tracks. Y'know how certain things can happen in a sport, a major change that gets noticed by everyone and is highlighted as a fundamental shift going forward e.g...

Every major moto series I can think of, anywhere in the world, has a junior/ amateur or development class that gets to race alongside the pros, except in the US. That has consequences imo.

If I’m not mistaken, an American won the supercross title this year. Yes, Roczen.

I wasn’t aware there was a team USA in MX… i guess i’m the only one that thinks it’s cool to see the international riders come here and race the best riders in the best series.

Yeah man I mean of course he’s American. He isn’t American born. He didn’t get his base here riding in the US. He was already an mxgp champ before coming over. That’s the only point I’m making. Dumb thread I guess haha. It’s no shade on non-American born riders. I love watching these guys. I’m just wondering where our big dogs are.

I mean Webb and Chase and Tomac all have won recently so I am not sure what the issue is? Jett? I mean, he is a freak.

Do you think chase and Tomac would have something for the Lawrence’s? I think the results would be similar. Maybe trading 3rd/4th with deegan with an occasional better result. They both also have not stayed off the ground for a season in how long. That’s an issue and these guys are having to ride over their limit to be competitive.

I mean is USA cooked when the worlds best all come here. Seems like we are doing alright and that is what we want. I want to turn on SX/MX and see the best go at it. I dont really give a rip where they were born.
