I've seen the "quieter bike" argument since the 70's when we didn't have silencers. Then we got the "Less sound = More ground" movement to appease the enviro freaks. And you know what happened? They started attacking us on other fronts. Erosion, dust, traffic, endangered species, injuries, the list goes on and on. You can NEVER make them happy by appeasement. Ask the guys that have eMTB about the pushback they are getting. We'll get it too. Electric motocrossers are still motorcycles and they will have to be sold on their own merits.
