So my 15 year old granddaughter can get her newly purchased $225 Jett Lawrence jersey signed. Call me an idiot but if you had grandkids you’d understand. Especially a 15 year old who wanted to drive 6 hours with her papa to see a SX

Yessir, I have a 15 y/o grandson (currently home in Alabama with two broken arms from an over jump). NOTHING I wouldn't do fer him!! I'd buy him the jersey but I'm not standing in no line. That would be on him if he wanted it bad enough.
Grandkids change you!!
I'm in Glendale today but I return home last part of the month and we already have reservations for Daytona and bham sx!! Enjoy the day with your granddaughter sir!!

At least she’s not having you stand in line and fight crowds for a Taylor Swift concert. Yes, it was a good concert but brutal 😬

Grand kids are great! As grand parents we have to things to worry about, 1 we get them back alive and in one piece, 2 they have fun! The rest is up to the parents.
No shade on you KennyT. Papas gonna do what Papas gotta do.
I just sent my grandson a Strider in KTM orange for his second birthday. Searching for a PW50 now. I'll do it up like the one his daddy had back in the day.
If I've learned one thing with very young kids and grandkids.......Saying no to an exited little girl or boy is one of the hardest things any Grown man no matter how tuff he is will ever do......
In fact i can only advise against it.... Reminds me of the time I spent thousands on a Hannah Montana concert because my daughters only care at that time was what time can we leave so we can get there early.....It never crossed her little mind that we may not be able to go........She was right.....

Awesome, and you know that when she is 64 this day will be one of her fondest memories.
Right. I never look back on my best memories and think damn I spent too much!

Grandkids are worth it !
Don't forget the donuts 😋
I'm stoked for both of you.

This rules on a bunch of levels
My best memories were attending the races with my grandfather. 30 years later, they’re still cherished. Well done KennyT.
Understood, I have grandkids.
Hopefully you grandkid will invest some money in something of value on day too 😂
Pit Row
Could be a lot worse, you could be standing in line at a Taylor Swift concert.
Good on ya, she'll remember the weekend long after she stops caring about the jersey.
They call us Grand for a reason.
Man, I wish I was in Dallas on the 24th. 😞 Gonna be a sweet SX at the Arlington stadium.

What's that one Beatles song??..."when I'm 64"...
You’re winning at being a grandpa! Cherish the day
I’d be worried about you if it was just you, but for the kids, we do anything for the kids! Good on you. Enjoy your time!
How long was the wait, are you 65 yet.
Is Jett one of the most popular, or the most popular there?
One of the best threads in a long time. Great job Papa
Where can you buy the jersey?
Post a reply to: 64 years old and I’m standing in line ….
