RV for sure, would love to hear about the multiple rivalries he had with racers. I like how RV has been himself now and has a personality. Wish he was that way while racing.

Also Uncle Phil and TP199. Pastrana is always having fun and Phil is just the man.

My father …. he drove me crazy and rode me hard growing up, but I miss him everyday now that he is gone.

Well, If we’re using The Time Machine, I’m bringing my GranPa back.

In the real world, I think I’d have a Beer Town Hall with my fellow Vitardian Kooks. At MXoN. That includes the “Lurkers” that just watch but never post…you know who you are…El Hombre’s dad…DC…MC…etc.

We’d all have more laughs than anyone of us could imagine.

Hanging out at the Mammoth podium last year having drinks with The King was pretty much the top for me.

Quite honestly, there are very few moto "stars" I wouldn't want to have a beer with.

Same goes for Vital members.   We may have pissed each other off from time to time, but the we all share a common love of the sport.

Damn dunno how these guys haven’t been mentioned yet..

Dogger, Chicken and DBO..

the stories on that podcast a few years back were truly epic..

they were a generation before I was really into racing, but man those dudes sounded wild..

If I’m allowed to go outside the industry, Billy Gibbons. I don’t usually think much either way about celebrities, but that guy is just cool.

Technically I didn't drink a beer with Hannah. The first national I went to was Southwick, maybe 1991. He crashed out and was drinking beers with a crowd outside his box van. My old man sent a very nervous me up to get my shirt signed, he was giving beers out, but didn't offer me one. Treasured memory.

Tomac, Stew, Pastrana, Ping and Reed

I know I’m gonna get grilled for saying ping but he does seem like he’d be cool to drink with.

My Grandpa and Bud Ekins, they were best friends. My Grandpa had a very bad crash that ruined his brain before I was old/wise enough to dig in and ask real questions about the early days of moto. Also, my "uncle" Bud Welty who owned Welty's Bultaco in the SFV, I really miss that Man. He and Otto worked for my uncle tying steel for many years after he closed the shop and the only thing they ever brought to the job site was a 30 rack of Budweisers. Also, a 12 pack of Bud always got us into Indian Dunes for practice. Laughing

My family was at the very roots of moto in the 818/805 in its infancy. Hell, Jim O'Neal would come over for Sunday dinner at my Grandparents house in Reseda almost every week growing up since he and my uncle Mike were practically attached at the hip. Jim Holley was also a regular back in the day as well.

Rick Johnson & Jeff Ward…my all time MX heroes! (Even though I’m only a year younger than RJ!)
BUT it goes without saying, I’d enjoy a chat & cold pop with any of the moto-dudes from any era!

MX just flat RULES! 🤪 👍❗️

For who's racing currently, I'd pick Anderson, Mookie or AP. But, if it could be anyone, definitely JS7, David Bailey and Kdub.

Years ago, camped out at a vintage race. Buck Murphy wandered into my pit, I handed him a beer, and then another and... we ended up BSing to the early morning hours. He polished off my bottle of Crown Royal. What a night of stories and laughs.

RIP Bucko

I’ve had dinner with:

Bailey

O’mara

Moates

Cliff White

DeCoster

the entire ‘83 Honda road race and Mx team

Bradshaw

Eckman

Stanton

many more

I wouldn’t trade any of those experiences to have dinner with any of the current guys. No disrespect, I’m just vintage.
