SX Futures will be run in conjunction with 5 SX races this year. Would you be more interested in watching these or E-SX races consisting of production based and prototype bikes in the same format the futures races are run?

Yeah I wouldn't oppose electrics and SX future, but I guess I see what you mean, that's how it could start, run a separate class, at selected events, same day, same track.

How about same day, separate events, separate class, separate track. Sounds good to me!

Futures based on talent, and that's coming from a guy who had an Alta, and ordered a Stark when he was younger.

I'm all for E bikes and a Stark is on my wish list, but a separate exhibition race just to have one with B-C level pros is of no interest to me. Futures has interest in that it's inexperienced amateurs thrown into the spotlight and seeing how they do, I'd much rather just see E bikes mixed in with the existing pack, which I know probably won't happen. I'm a fan of racing in general, I want to see the best go at it, don't care what bike they're on or what sound it makes.

Kudos for your sense of humor, that's a real good one.

That's fair, you more than most people see the pure utility of having a dirtbike that's almost silent. Like I said in another thread, the dirtbike industry is driven by riders not sx viewers. If they can carve out time for futures I don't see why they can't carve out some time at a few races for an electric class too, could be interesting if not the main attraction.

Having a few select E-SX rounds would be great, it would go a long way towards getting bikes developed and fast tracking improvements as we all learn the nuances.  There’s no replacement for actual racing when it comes to developing bikes and products, so having that opportunity would be a huge benefit I think.  People will laugh at first and that’s fine, the opportunity would still be worth it.

Stark will need to pay feld a fair bit for that ,  might need some others selling mx e  bikes for that to come true
