He surprised me this morning by having this 2022 YZ250 shipped to my house. I’ve never gotten a free bike before. Just loaners I had to buy/sell/give back at the end of the season/year. Pretty cool of him.

I may be able to help a little with that. Joe , myself and 3 other's had a 5 man chat group the last couple years. We all spoke with each other almost every day. I still have that chat and most all the pics we all shared. Joe had some awesome ones. It may take me a while to get all the pics saved. And right now I'm extremely under the weather , with fighting this Covid thing myself. I loved Joe , and he was a dear friend. I will miss him a lot. The past 36 hours...

I knew Joe. A few on here were also good friends. His son called me today because he saw that I kept texting Joe for an update, like I had for the past week and a half. I’m still in a bit of shock. Joe was real. He was an honest person and a good friend. Please pray for his family. Joe was everything to them.

Plons was an excellent photographer and a really good guy. He always stayed above the old US-vs-Europe fray and just enjoyed shooting racing and cycling. He was a pleasure to work with. Godspeed. DC Racer X

I no longer have a role at Engine Ice. After more than 20 years, it is time to move on and leave Engine Ice to its new caretakers. I am proud of what I and my family created and accomplished. I will miss some of the day to day operations and talking to customers. I look forward to seeing what the future brings myself and my family, as well as Engine Ice. I will always be the Founder of Engine Ice and I will always be Engine Ice Dave. My wife and I can now move on to other things...
