I as well as other people have been keeping in contact with Scottie and he messaged me at 8:30 this evening and asked me to post this for all of his friends. [i]Its about that time, I love you Brian, please post this on Vital after midnight tonight or even tomorrow: Farewell my friends. I am sorry it has come to this, but I can no longer carry on in this amount of pain. This has not been a spur of the moment decision, I am of sound mind and thinking clearly. Over time my physical well being has declined...

Same here, been in this chair as a paraplegic for 21 years now. There's quite a few of us in chairs on this site. People don't see all the "behind the scenes" shit that we go through. Bowel & bladder care / accidents, I've pissed or shit myself at the office on multiple occasions and it's embarrassing. The back pain from the injury, shoulder pain from pushing a chair all day, lifting myself into my truck, the bed, shower, toilet, etc. Leg spasms, urinary infections, losing your independence and that sinking feeling when you go somewhere or to someone's house...

Times are definitely tough for many at the moment and on that list is a Vital brother who needs a helping hand. OC has been a staple of this forum since the beginning and continually contributes to the enjoyment of all around. Seriously, his post count is six times what mine is and this place is my job.

Scottie has fallen on hard times; as he's fighting some serious health problems and the 17th of this month will mark 37 years since his accident. Scottie needs some financial help to replace worn out parts on his wheelchair. As most...

New JS7 video has some great insights into some of the head space issues when riders hit the deck in the main. Do you throw the toys out of the cot and cruise the rest of the main? or Do you charge it and push? Interesting indeed

As many of you read in a thread a few months back that Dwayne Williams (MXerDW) had a stroke. It really looked like he was improving but then had a setback a few days ago and today succumbed to his illness. I know a lot of you guys used his race day links for years and if you had a chance a lot of us spent some time at Glen Helen or Pala or where ever a National was run and thoroughly enjoyed Dwayne's hospitality. If you all get a chance, lift a beer and give Dwayne a toast. RIP...
