If you like poorly "restored" and grossly misrepresented vintage bikes, he's your guy.🤡 BTW, shiny does NOT equal restoration. All it takes is the original manufacturers brochure, talent, and time. When it looks exactly like the original brochure down to the last detail...it's restored. Any less and it's simply rebuilt and worth about 25% of a full restoration.

Made a little progress on my last day of leave. Installing the engine was a pain! Exhaust was just to check fitment, same with seat and gas tank

Made a little progress with worlds slowest bike build. I got the wheels back from Dubya today, I had them match the handlebars for the hubs. I also made the 3.5 hour each way trip to TAGMX for some more Cerakote work and to build the engine for this bike. I have the other engine built for the second bike.

Starting back at it. Picked up the frame and suspension this weekend. Didn’t get much time to start putting it together because of the hurricane in Puerto Rico.

No matter how this thing goes, and they often go sideways here, I have a lot of respect for Billy coming in and explaining things. I’ve owned Ktm’s with this style clamp for hundreds and hundreds of hours of seat time without any issues so I do not think it is a bad design. On the contrary, it’s easier to service and way easier to adjust bearing preload giving you a little bit of a dampener effect. And if I was going to buy aftermarket clamps I’d have no reservations about going with Luxon.

What he said. Michelin 5 soft is solid in true soft stuff, blows on hard pack. But lasts longer than the 3SF

It false because it’s not the actual designed neutral. It’s in between two gears, so not engaged and not making power.

Langston says Bond hit him two or three times and that he was over it and was proving a point. Bonds says he was tired and doing whatever it took to win the moto.

There is no amount of cheating available that would give me enough of an edge to win.

In all types of professional racing you are only cheating if you get caught. Why do you think NASCAR cars are so closely inspected with templates before it’s approved for races? Pro SX and National sound inspections can be very ahhhh creative to pass the sound tests for that little sticker. You know there are cheater bikes in there too.

I don’t believe in cheating in anything, not in sports and not on your spouse. Having said that I do find the Lance Armstrong persecution interesting. Literally every rider in the tours he won was cheating, he was just the best at it! So if you have to cheat to even the playing field with other cheaters is it really cheating? I honestly wonder if he would have won if everyone was on the up and up? How much of an advantage did the cheating provide if everyone was cheating?

Bar X would be absolutely retarded to not bring back Schwartz and hire Izzi. For a team that was gaining some momentum, hiring Izzi would be a huge step backwards and nobody would take them serious.
