This sucks. Bad. I’ve been watching Loretta’s for years and years. Watched some great racing and it was cool to follow the young riders as they progressed through the classes. It was also cool to watch former pros battle and also the age classes I raced and riders I raced against to see how they would do. I enjoyed the podium interviews as I got to know the riders a bit. I got a lot of direct and indirect advertising via rider and event sponsors and would always try to support the sponsors whenever possible. That is over for me...

I raced that race in n the 500 class. My son was a baby and I bought him this shirt. My daughter and grandkids have all worn it. I still have it.

I ran in to Randy Hawkins, 7 time national enduro champion, and Jan Hrehor, he was from Czech Republic and raced GNCC, at a restaurant I just stopped by their table and spoke to them. They were super friendly. A couple of years later a friend of mine calls me and wants me to go help him pickup a bike. He bought a backup bike from Randy. A Suzuki RMX 250. We picked it up at his shop and spent some time just in awe of the trophy’s, ISDE helmets, etc. He was really down to earth and answered all...

Growing up in Simi, O'Mara, Stanton, Johnson, Bailey and Donnie Hansen, even MC towards the end of Hondaland were a common sight around town. I was just a young buck so it wasn't earth shattering at the time but now I look back and it was pretty damn cool. All-time best moto encounter in the real world was sitting next to Malcolm Smith on a flight back to LAX from SLC in 1998 or so. Absolutely the coolest guy you could ask to meet. We talked moto for a short time and when he found out who my Grandpa was...

Many saw shops already offer porting and plethora of mods like exhaust, anodized billet clutch covers, upgraded felling dogs, etc... There is people out there that make their livelihood's running saws everyday, lots of those guys aren't running stock saws, they take pride in their tools like we do with our bikes, pretty cool if you ask me.

Ask the last 10 guys that made it in a the first 15 that didn’t. Because it’s prestigious, it’s hard, and something worth trying for.

I saw Brandon Hartranft at Nobu in AC a few summers ago. It was after his accident — I was so stoked to see him out with his family, walking, and looking healthy. I anonymously sent a drink to his table. I didn’t want to bother him, but I wanted him to know that the moto community was pulling for his full recovery. He ended up figuring out who sent him the drink, and he and his wife came over to thank me. Then we welcomed his whole family to have a drink with us — they were really great...

We were also in Nashville for the sx at a private event at Tootsie and chatted one on one with Dale Jr. for about 10 mins. Super down to earth and engaging.

Sounds to me MX Sports got tired of footing the bill at their events for RacerTV, so let us make money on the event instead of paying our kids, and whatever other broom pushers we have lying around to do it. Unless they can still broadcast it for free on YouTube at the same time, which I highly doubt...... Or, maybe they still owe Flosports for the fuck job they tried to pull off a few years ago, and this their free pass for a season to settle up. Whatever the reason, they are doing this to make, or save...

Flo is terrible. They post spoilers on the video page so if you can't watch live, it's challenging to watch without seeing spoilers. They will never get another dime from me.

LL has only been getting less relevant as the SMX Next program has grown. Great move to put it behind a paywall for a final blow. Bravo MX Sports 👏🏻

Not that I need the money but some side hustle to support my dirt bike habit would please my wife. Seems like selling air horns and chainsaws without a bar and chain at national races would be a good gig. Buy chainsaws from Alibaba, marketplace or temu. Set up a stand pit side the track and flip for a decent profit !!!! Even have per mix on hand to sell too!!!
