If this were the standard in the 90s we never would have had a James and we never would have had a Ricky. Both were poor kids with insane talent. You want to frame it more as a business than a sport, and that's fine, but it shows where your values lie. If the trend continues, we will deserve to lose to the Euros, as we continue to artificially restrict the effective talent pool for the enrichment of one family.

It's not all hate, but a large part is he pretends it's not about the money at all. He tends to hide behind "growing the sport" when he's just trying to grow his accounts. I used to watch every year. I’m bummed they went this route with Flo of all companies. We all remember the last Flo racing shit show. Not only that but let’s be honest the free stream didn’t have the best camera setup. With them now charging $40 for the races, are they upgrading the cameras and viewing angles?
