So if you’re not cheating you’re not trying is not true? People cheat every day! Keefer is a hero for cheating so you’re wrong!

I’d rather lose playing by the rules than win by cheating.

Ask your politician, they'll say it's only cheating if you get caught. No, cheating is only cheating yourself.

I cheat my wife out of time with me when I ride way to much. She deserves it though, the track always makes me feel good. Always!! Her on the other hand ‘ blah blah blah can you take out the trash, is it necessary to ride so much , blah blah blah !
I’m talking shit though. I’m a lucky dude.

Some call it cheating. Some call it a competitive advantage. It all depends if your caught or not to be honest. It happens in every sport, hell it happens in every aspect of life.

Respect. With that said I'd rather win doing whatever it takes. Losing at something makes me unbelievably mad. I'll do whatever it takes to win at any at anything in my life. I was going to give a thumbs down, but I'd rather man up and put my opinion out there with my username instead of being the cowardly anonymous thumbs down guy.

Does the virtue of trying your hardest, perhaps then crossing over the line into actual cheating, override the virtue of playing by the rules? No. By cheating you're harming every other competitor in play, every part of their support team, every fan - and arguably harming society itself in at least some small way by acting in a dishonourable fashion. You can't maintain a decent civilisation this way.

Whether it's rife in sport, politics etc or not is a different matter. It is in and of itself wrong.

Sounds like you got something on your mind dude. Save some time and spare rhetorical questions. We talking about riders not running flat front number plates? Peeking during a game of heads up 7up? Tonya Harding?

No way. So u would deliberately cut the track or run a big bore just to win?
Where is the pride in that?
Pro teams will push the legal limits etc to gain an advantage. I don't think many would deliberately cheat.
And with riders you try and stay within the laws. But if u get pushed of track you zip up the outside to retain your position and things like that. But I would never deliberately cheat. If I cheated to win a local race I would feel disappointed with myself. If I won the same race clean. I would be proud and happy.
Have some pride.

I ride a 450, i get passed by kids on 85s all the time, cheating would be useless for us slow guys.
I get the idea of cheating at the highest level of competition. Cheating at a local level is sort of pathetic, really whats the point, cheating to win what? But im not perfect by any means, i do other stupid stuffSmile

Fellas fellas fellas, everyone knows the real way of measurable cheating is performance enhancing drugs. Shocked no one has thought and commented on that route yet here

I don’t believe in cheating in anything, not in sports and not on your spouse. Having said that I do find the Lance Armstrong persecution interesting. Literally every rider in the tours he won was cheating, he was just the best at it! So if you have to cheat to even the playing field with other cheaters is it really cheating? I honestly wonder if he would have won if everyone was on the up and up? How much of an advantage did the cheating provide if everyone was cheating?
