Have you ever had a gf or friend go get motorcycle training to learn to ride a street bike? Could be $200 some places. Nico has a very “niche” skill set that is in demand to some people. I don’t like hearing that he is “scamming” people.
Show me an insurance salesman or a social media influencer and I’ll show you a scammer
Definitely not a scammer
I’d like nothing more than to see him stay clean and sober, even make a comeback to racing. But I will not hold my breath on any of it. He’s made some REALLY bad choices since 2007.
There are plenty of “MX Trainers” that shouldn’t be taking money for training kids or any riders fir that matter. Just because someone is capable of racing AMA Pro MX or SX, does not mean they can train someone else.
Nico might have the ability to train someone and he definitely has the knowledge behind him. I’m not disputing that, but you’re putting him up on a pedestal as one of the best and that’s simply not true. Stop while you’re ahead, not going to convince anyone of what a great guy he is.
I stated “scamming amateur parents”. As he would receive payment for multiple sessions and show up to one or none and ghost.
Very well documented over the years on here and facebook. So no need to waste time sourcing anything. His record and criminal record surely should be enough to steer any future customers away.
Pit Row
I've seen him every day we've been at the track in the last month or so, he's grinding.
I did know some mini parents back in the day who were training with him, they all had great things to say about him. I could see he wasn't all there at the time and wasn't interested in having him tutor my kid.
